The following rules and guidelines apply to all topics within the VX Script Support section. They may be changed or expanded upon in the future.
Please remember that this section is only for requesting help with existing scripts for RPGMaker VX (RGSS2). If your question is regarding a VX Ace (RGSS3) script, please post your topic here. RPGMaker XP (RGSS) is currently not supported on this site.

  • All general forum rules still apply unless they conflict with the additional rules outlined below.
  • Do not bump your thread before 72 hours (3 full days) have passed since the most recent reply.
  • When posting ruby code, please post it into [ code ] tags. This makes the code easier to read and prevents the post editor to falsify your code.
You can easily do this in the WYSIWYG editor by pressing the <> button and pasting your script in the popup.
  • Please provide as much information as possible in order to help others help you.
  • If you are including video files, a long section of code, or multiple images, please use [ spoiler ] tags to hide them.
  • Please include or link to all scripts mentioned in your posts.
  • If you require help with a script that has a topic in this site's Script Submissions section, please ask your question there instead.
  • Your thread will be closed once its purpose has been fulfilled.
    • If you want your thread re-opened for further discussion, please send a message to a moderator in charge of the scripting forums.
    • If your thread hasn't been closed after three days and you believe that it has fulfilled its purpose, please report the thread and suggest that it can be locked now.
