Such a good idea to get these threads going before the forums is completely swamped with so much stuff you can't keep track.

 

 

ive got an offline archive for vx and ace but vx is hard to do because of the masses of scripts

Goodie. I honestly prefer that over the categories, personally, but can easily understand its usefulness. Or maybe it was because I was familiar with most coders' names back at VX... Whatever, it's still good to hear the author list will be returning. :)

I don't think the tweening script should be in "creator tools" - that sounds like it's something to use in the editor, but it's not. It makes images fade from one to another - a kind of simple morph thing. I suggest it belongs in the Graphics/Sprites/Visual category.

 

As a commercial developer, I'd be interested in which of these scripts may be used for commercial projects, and whether payment is required. I don't want to make an assumption one way or the other. Is there any chance we can get scripters to add that info?

Jet edited the list and kept his tweening script there so that is what it is,

I'd like to note Eagle Vision is graphics-related; it has nothing to do with actors, lol. Just allows you to tint the screen to grayscale (or any tint configuration, really), while, say, Thomas Edison's lights remain in color.

Wahhh! He's at it again! >.< GIF Animation Player is a graphics thing, or Creator's Tools... Has less to do with actors than Eagle Vision... Anyways, yeah... .gif animations are those animated pictures you see... And this script allows you to put a bunch of those in a folder, and play the folder's pictures in sequence, like an animation or movie. ;)
