Mankind finds itself being slaughtered by immortal beings called "Grimoire".

Where did they come from, or why are they doing this, are not known.

42 powerful guilds are formed allying themselves with the district military to fight Grimoire. The best soldiers in all 12 districts are going to be trained professionally in order to deal with the threat.

All but one guild are lost as a result of the war of Jenesio.

The remnants of mankind focus their defenses in their own districts, hiding in fear.

As for the only surviving guild, Grimoire Hunter, it still embraces volunteers to continue the fight to find Grimoire's weakness and save mankind from absolute extinction.

It really looks amazing, I'm curious how actual gameplay would look like. =P

I want to play it, but my game-list-to-play is really long, so sadly it must wait. =P

It looks very nice, graphics are cool just... aren't their portraits a bit blurred?

 

The futuristic story is a bit of a classic one (the world reached near extinction) but I won't mind if they game has innovative features like the ones I saw. 

 

Overall, seems a very good project, keep up!

I just think the portraits have low resolution.

have a plan to redraw all graphics with some original arts,

STORIES OF SHEIDH - THE ANCESTORS

Lore

 

Elmsh Dimens = All existing matter and space considered as a whole. It is believed to be at least

10 billion light years in diameter and contains a vast number of galaxies. In every galaxy lies the Great Ship called Cosmos,
divided into twelve Districts, governed by the most supreme race in the universe, the First Human

 

Grimoire = Unique species who could control the Life Force and Death Force. They are an immortal being
by its nature of having an infinite Shadow Clone system as long as their shadows is remained.

The Class System for the Grimoire is fairly straightforward, where each class clearly delineated. Higher classes

are expected to be on call to lead the lower classes into a war. But despite this, Guildmaster Sido stated that
every creature must have a weakness and that nature would never allow a truly immortal being to exist.

 

Fairy = A noble-mysterious race who's living with the First Human in Jenesio.

They have unlimited Life Force which make them possess an accelerated healing process and a long lifespan,

200 years or more. Despite of being like a human in their appearance, these fairies have a pair of small wings

growing on their back.

 

Forces = Attribute of power that tends to change the motion and shape of things.

There are Five Forces that are known in this universe, Fha, Neir, Shei, Life and Death.

Fha Force will penetrate/slice the Shei Force, Neir Force will bend the effect of Fha Force by its wave,
and Shei Force will nullify the Neir Force.

 

Guilds = 42 powerful Guilds were formed and allied themselves with the District Military to fight Grimoire.

All but one guild are lost as a result of the war of Jenesio, As for the only surviving guild, Grimoire Hunter,

it still embraces volunteers to continue the fight to find Grimoire's weakness and save mankind from absolute extinction.

I wonder if you got the inspiration from online game?

since death means penalty. I cried when a random item was lost, though I don't know what. lol

 

to be honest... yes it is. :P

sometimes a game over can be annoying in several games,

so that's why i put penalty instead of death.

 

you will lose recovery items,

don't worry, equipment/gears are safe. :D

I thought you'd play cruel developer who confiscate equips when character die like the usual online game lol.

but I think that's one of the interesting part of your game.

sometimes penalty can be annoying, yet made things matters.

btw, suggestions for improvements are welcome. :D

I admit the major flaw in The Ancestor is story-telling / plot.

 

also, have you tried to play Stories to Sheidh IV?

I put so much efforts and ideas into it,

hope that game would make a better story telling than The Ancestors.

to be honest, I'm the kind of gamer who love to get straight into the action.

I'm not really smart, it took me long time to understand the game features.

playing your game, I was surprised by the rich battle system and features, 

such as partner, and the other stuffs to support better fighting.

I just want to hack and slash everything with much monsters like they got in Dynasty Warriors.

and when I reach the HQ, I was shocked to find out about this and that.

Probably because the game start with a pro character, so the gamer was assumed to have same

knowledge as him. But I'm completely new about this.

So, I will be very appreciate it if you could introduce the gameplay, how the battle works, slowly.

Perhaps, 1 or 2 levels for 1 features.

and since I'm not really sharp, I think it would be nice if you explain it lightly with a little memorable humor (like how Zhuge Liang explains ROTKXI gameplay to Liu Bei). 

 

of course, I'll give it a try when my schedule a little bit lighter.
