Hi everyone,

I've got a site up with about 500 tracks of free music that you can use in your games. It's all original...all my own work. All I ask is to be credited as indicated on my homepage:

http://soundimage.org/

I sincerely hope my tracks are helpful. Any and all comments are welcome and always appreciated. :)

All the best,

Eric

Oh you're here too?! =3 Well.. xD

HOLY BALLS! Absolutely amazing! I absolutely love your horror sounds!

You did a great job with "Broken Ocean" - that sounds really interesting!

The rest is amazing too! ~ you're doing all of this by yourself? This is incredible.

When I'm listening to your tracks, I'm getting lots of ideas where could I use them! =3

I'm always finding myself lacking when it comes to music for my game. It'll be next to impossible now NOT to find something I like and that fits. I haven't gotten a chance to sample any yet (work, boo!), but tomorrow I'll have to browse around.

Thanks for posting this!

I just went from:

"Oh, man. What music am I going to use for this scene? How am I ever going to find the perfect sounds?"

to

"Oh man these sounds are perfect, how am I ever going to make enough content to use all of this awesomeness?"

You're very welcome...I hope some of my tracks come in handy!

Happy New Year everyone!

I've begun the process of creating looping versions of my Fantasy and Sci-Fi tracks, starting with the oldest ones. The links to download the looping versions appear right under the original versions.

I hope this will be helpful to my game developer friends! :-) If you happen to want any of my newer tracks looped immediately, send me an email and I'll see what I can do.

For those of you who don't know, I post daily updates of new tracks here:
https://www.facebook.../soundimage.org
https://twitter.com/EricMatyas

And playlists of my tracks are here:
https://www.youtube.....Gy-A/playlists

This week's new releases are:

“The Darkness Below”_Looping (on the Sci-Fi/Space page)
“World of Automatons”_Looping (on the Sci-Fi/Space Page)

"The Darkness Below" would work in a horror game ~ I swear if I'll be continuing my horror game, I'll fill it with your music, because I really love the ambience-type scary music you have. Listening to some of your tracks gives me ideas, where they could be used. lol I said that already.

Cool...I'd love to see your game when it's done.

In the meantime...

I had to split up some of my genres (like Fantasy) so they now span multiple pages. This was done in order to improve performance of the site and (hopefully) make hunting for tracks a bit more manageable. If you have any problems finding anything, just let me know.

That said, this week's new tracks are:

“Vast Places” (on the Quiet/Peaceful/Mellow Page)
http://soundimage.or...eaceful-mellow/

“They’re Closing In” (on the Dark/Ominous Page)
