Lyrics!
I was bored so I wrote up lyrics to my game's theme song:
SpoilerCome with me, on a dwimmerdelve!
Come with me, to a place where fairies dwell!Come with me, on a dwimmerdelve!
Come with me, and hear the ringing bells!Come with me, on a dwimmerdelve!
Come with me, may find heaven may find hell!O, come with me, come with me, on a dwimmerdelve.
Flee with me, from reality!
Flee with me, to a place for you and me!Flee with me, from reality!
Flee with me, and the sights that you will see!Flee with me, from reality!
Flee with me, to hell with destiny!O, flee with me, flee with me, from reality.
It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter,
Just getting older, just getting fatter,
It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter,
Licking the batter, mad as a hatter,Come with me, and be free, of reality, in a dwimmerdelve!

Pokémon: The Fourth Dimension
Pokémon: The Fourth Dimension
Inspired by the "Pokémon - The Secret Journey" RP Started by Naridar
Credit for the Character of Tobias goes to Shaddow
(Note: Shaddow, if you see this and don't want your character used in the story just tell me and I'll take him right out.)
By Niko DelValle AKA Obrusnine
WAR. War has struck the Averous Region. A plague has been spread among the Pokémon and people of the region, almost always leading to death. This has created a war among the already divided North and South nations of Averous. The Pokemon Professor of the region, Planetree, has been given a blank check by South Averous to try and find a cure. In the meantime, access to starting Pokemon is limited thanks to the plague leaving several aspiring trainers without Pokemon of their own, even though the League continues to run as planned.
In the meantime though, a clandestine criminal group has kidnapped Professor Planetree's daughter and taken her into the North where it is hard to find her, telling him to cease his research or else. For what reason is unclear, but regardless, a few young trainers will have to take up arms in order to save her. The police of the North will not help him because of his alliance with the South, the South won't help because of their lack of influence, and so it is up to Planetree to recruit the trainers he needs in order to help.
These trainers include Cyrus Hayden, an aspiring trainer with a past of suffering looking for a new beginning. Tobias Green, an aspiring trainer influenced by a past accident. Tara Gone, an experienced trainer who has overcome many hardships with her Pokemon. And Erin Red, who has become a trainer in an attempt to overcome the shadow her older brother has set for her.
What they don't realize is that there is more going on then they realize. The clandestine organization may not be who they initially seem to be, Pokémon of myth may be real after all, and their journey may lead them to saving more then just Planetree's daughter.
Find out, in Pokémon: The Fourth Dimension.
Note: This is an AU (Alternate Universe) story. It doesn't take place in either the anime or game universes, but rather a different one that takes inspiration from both sources. This is to make up a more "perfect" version of Pokémon that makes a heck of a lot more sense (in my eyes at least). I may still use characters from either one though, we'll see. There's a lot of information on the Averous region below the map if you're interested.

Averous Region – The Averous Region is the north-most region of actual civilization in the world. Dividing the rest of the Atori Continent (a continent separate from the Origin Continent, the location of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh and separate from the Alpha Continent, the location of Unova and Kalos) from the great Northern Lands where only few people live among the ice and extended dark and light periods. The Averous Region used to be a united land, but two countries have split off offering different ideals. North Averous is heavily religious, with only a few outcast dissidents not preaching to the Grand Four. South Averous relies more on Science and Logic and those worshipping the Grand Four are outcast. This divide has worn down relations over time, and currently North and South Averous are at war due to the break of a plague that the nations blame each other for spreading. The plague, called Planetree Disease, named after the Pokémon professor who discovered it, affects both people and Pokémon and has spread wildly among the wild Pokémon population. In addition, the Averous Region has a lot of ancient historical sites and rotted medieval towers from a time long past. Making it a popular region for Archaeological visits, Anthropologists also have keen interest in the location both due to the history and the existence of the Grand Four religion. In addition, North and South Averous are divided into three sectors each to give each large area an identity.
Averous River – Called such because it runs through the center of the Averous Region.
North Averous - They are highly religious and almost zealot-like worshipping the Grand Four. People who don’t believe in the Grand Four are outcast in the population, including two out of the three Gym Leaders who actually live in the region, and most visiting trainers to their Gyms. Even during war-time, both nations have agreed to leave the Pokémon League mostly intact for trainers who still want to challenge it. Making them diplomatically immune and pledging to protect their safety from war-time conflicts. However, North Averous is resentful of South Averous for being the ones to host the Averous Pokémon League Championships as well as the Elite Four. They are also highly irritated at the denial of their access to the South, where two religious monuments of theirs lie.
South Averous - They are highly scientific and focused on advancement in technology and the understanding of Pokémon. Their heightened focus on logic makes the more religious feel slightly outcast in their society. Though Southerners are more welcoming then Northerners. The Pokémon Professor for the region, Professor Planetree, also lives here just outside of Etios Town which borders the Ergon Forest. They host both the Pokémon League Championships and the Elite Four. They have given Professor Planetree a blank check in funds to research the Planetree Disease and try to make a cure, and to try and find those responsible for its rapid spread, if it is not naturally occurring (which Planetree and the government both doubt). This is a secondary concern for them as they are already set on the North being the responsible party.
The Grand Four – The Grand Four are four legendary Pokémon. There was said to be four of them, one on each of the large mountains present in the Averous Region. They are worshipped as deities as they have never been sighted and are rumored to have been the creator of all Pokémon and people. They are also viewed as taking back the souls they forged upon their death, and then given a new life in the clouds that varies between enjoyment and suffering depending on how they conducted themselves during life. The South believes they exist, though doubts the creationist aspects. They view them as just four extremely powerful Pokémon without any particularly incredible powers of creation.
LANDMARKS (Marked in Yellow on Region Map)
1 – Orias Tower – One of the several aged towers present in the Averous Region from a time long past.
2 – Rocksix Mountain – Rocksix Mountain is one of four mountains rumored to have housed one of the Grand Four. Rocksix is rumored to have been the home of the Steel and Rock type in the Grand Four. All four mountains enjoy regular pilgrimages from worshippers. And it is said that worshippers who don’t pilgrimage up all the mountains at least once during their lifetimes should expect hardship to follow them after their life has reached its end, before being granted their rewards by the Grand Four.
3 – Deserkis Mountain – Deserkis Mountain is one of the four mountains rumored to have housed one of the Grand Four. Deserkis is rumored to have been the home of the Ground and Psychic type in the Grand Four.
4 – Lakeshore Tower – The one tower from medieval Averous, which is within South Averous, which has stood the test of time. It is given regular maintenance by Pokémon League staff as it is now being used to house the Elite Four.
5 – Erishore Tower – One of the several aged towers present in the Averous Region from a time long past.
6 – Firsten Tower – One of the several aged towers present in the Averous Region from a time long past.

11 – Taskis Tower – One of the several aged towers present in the Averous Region from a time long past.
12 – Snowris Tower – A tower that was built next to Snowris Mountain long ago. An independent company who supports the spread of Pokémon contests to most regions owns Snowris and maintains it in order to house the Pokémon Grand Festival of the region. It also finances all of the contest houses present in the region.
BRIDGES (Marked in Black on the Region Map)
1 – Central Bridge – A huge bridge that connects North and South Averous together. It is also famous because there’s a Pokémon Gym situated directly in the middle of it. The gym leader is Evan. The badge is the Bridge Badge. He specializes in water type Pokémon. A Pokémon Ranger outpost has also been set up, both to conduct their own investigation into the spread of Planetree Disease, and to try and calm tensions between the two nations. This bridge is a neutral zone. No troops from either side can be moved across it. Though both sides still stare at each other from military outposts established at either end to ensure that no conflict takes
place on the bridge. All troops are moved using boats from hidden military outposts along the shoreline.
2 – Terkan Bridge – This Bridge connects the Desert and Bridge sectors of South Averous.
3 – Forest Bridge – This Bridge connects the Bridge and Forest sectors of South Averous.
4 – Snow Bridge – This Bridge connects the Snow and Green sectors of North Averous.
MOUNTAIN RANGES (Marked in White on the Region Map)
1 – Elestis Mountains – A snowy mountain range in the Snow Sector of North Averous.
2 – Lorgis Mountains – Another snowy mountain range in the Snow Sector of North Averous. The largest mountain range in the Averous Region.
3 – Mesa Mountains – A desert mountain range in South Averous.
4 – Deskis Mountains – A normal mountain range in South Averous.
5 – Central Mountains – A normal mountain range in the center of South Averous.
FORESTS (Marked in Blue on the Region Map)
1 – Ergon Forest – The forest bordering Etios Town.
2 – Central Forest – The largest forest in the Averous Region. Near the center of South Averous and the Central Mountains.
3 – Loshis Forest – A small forest that used to belong to the Central Forest, a large part of it was cut down to make room for the Loshis Canal.
4 – Terol Forest – A small forest in South Averous.
5 – Four Forest – A small forest in North Averous.
6 – Snow Forest – A small snowy forest in North Averous’s Snow Sector.
7 – Aros Forest – A small snowy forest in North Averous’s Snow Sector.
8 – Tarson Forest – A small snowy forest in North Averous’s Snow Sector.
9 – Averous Forest – A small forest named such because of its proximity to Averous tower.
10 – North Forest – A small snowy forest in North Averous’s Snow Sector.
11 – Snowris Forest – A small snowy forest named such because of its proximity to Snowris Mountain and Snowris Tower.
CITIES/TOWNS (Marked in Red on the Region Map)
1 – Etios Town – A small laid-back town that borders the Ergon Forest. Pokémon Professor Planetree’s lab is located on the outskirts. There is no gym in this town.
2 – Orias Town – A mid-size town located in South Averous. The Arc Gym is located here. Its badge is the Eclectic Badge. The gym leader specializes in Electric Pokémon. Gym Leader is Lectra, traditionally challenged first.

6 – Firas City – A small city at the end of the Central Bridge located in North Averous. It is by far the least religious of cities in North Averous, despite its proximity to Firas Mountain. This is mostly due to South and North culture’s clashing. Both religious and non-religious people wander the street, and because of the chaos of the city crime is quite common. The gym leader is Edgar. The badge is the Chaos Badge. He specializes in Fire type Pokémon. Traditionally challenged fourth.
7 – Harkan City – The capital city of North Averous. Gym leader is Asra. Its badge is the Grand Badge. She specializes in Psychic and Dark types. She is the only religious Gym Leader. Traditionally challenged fifth.

SHRINES (Marked S on Region Map)
S – Shrine of the Four – A neutral island in-between North and South Averous on the Averous River. It’s extremely difficult to reach thanks to rocks and eclectic weather. A lot of ships have actually been lost trying to reach it. Modern technology though has made it slightly easier to reach with an experienced boatman. The Shrine of the Four is rumored to have been the place where the Grand Four assembled to create humanity and Pokémon. In the center of it are stone structures and a big clear pool of clean water rumored to have slight regenerative powers. Some North Averous residents have claimed to have cured common diseases using the water.

Project: Journey to Skynesia
Introduction:
For those who don't know what exactly my project is, here I introduce to you my game project I wanted to made since 2010. It was actually my 2nd project I attempted to made. My first project was just a test project to learn how to use RPG Maker. While in the second project, I aimed to make a big project. I even made my original soundtracks since I was music composer then. Until I realized that I was too naive. I was not a skilled developer. And this project ended up hiatus for a long time.
In my 3rd project, I scrapped some systems in order to simplify the system so that I could make the game. But it's still to complex for me and ended up as canceled. While in my 4th game I wasnt expecting that it would be a complete game. Yes, it's sample game for my TSBS namely Eremidia Dungeon: Skyward Temple.
Anyway? what kind of project is this?
Just a standard JRPG like where the plot is linear. Nothing more, but you know, I have a lot of urge to make this game.
Did you know, Nella Shadowind? The NPC who appear in my TSBS version 1.4 demo and the one who appeared in left side in my Theolized RGSS3 logo. Yes, she is the main heroine.
Story:
The story took place in an island called Alumnea. Separated from the mainland (which is Eremidia). There is a fairy tale where long time ago, Alumnea had been filled by winged human. However, they were gone for some reasons, to the sky island called Skynesia. A lot of people think it only as a fairy tale and never believe it. But some people do believe.
Once upon a time, Alumnea had been surprised by the appearance of a mysterious girl that resemble to the people in the fairy tale. A girl who had wing in her back. She had been woken up from a long sleep in one of the Alumnea Ruins. She realized that she was in very different place. People here, had no wings like she had. And she had been chased by a lot of people due her uniqueness. Until she met an ordinary person, namely Andy Landwalker.
Andy who believe in the fairy tale was very surprised. And the girl in front of him provide a clear evidence that the fairy tale is really true. And the next question is "is the Skynesia, the floating sky island really exist?". Hence their Journey to Skynesia begin.
Characters :
Andy Landwalker (17-18 years old)

An ordinary young boy who try to live by his own. It had been a tradition to people of Alumnea that when a boy already in 16-17 years old, they should get the job. Unfortunatelly, Andy almost had no skill to serve people like being shop keeper or errand boy. The only skill he had (or at least where he is quite proficient) is to survive in wild nature and hunting.
Role : Agile actor. Perform action faster
Nella Shadowind (315 15-16 years)

A mysterious girl who resembles as people in fairy tale. She had been woken up from a long time sleep. There is no record to her life. Even just why she had been slept for a long time. Her magic is unique compared to the Alumneans since she could use the magic just by the bare hand. And she could materialize the Alma (the terms of Mana in my world concept) into touchable thing where nobody could do that.
Role : Supportive actor. Perform stat booster and healing
Cecilia Fortuna (18-19 years old)

An apprentice mage from Alumnea Magic Academy. Also the skilled mage in destruction magics. Her favorite spells are fire related spells. She is the only child in Fortuna Family.
Role : Damage dealer / Spell nuker
Claude Ironshift (looks like 20's years old)

A man with armor on his body. He is a soldier who accidentally join the party just because he had the same destination.
Role : Tank. Very durable among the party members
Current Progress :
Story : 15% (I got a lot of revisions)
Systems : 5% (This was my 3rd attempt to revive the project. I rebuild the system from scratch again)
Musics : 50% (Most of musics I already made long time ago)
Graphics : 5% (I'm not spriter / graphics designer)
Preview :
Main theme (I made this music in 2010)
Boss Battle Theme. Remixed by my friend
Battle system. I'm going to use ATB system and interruption. Still prototyping ...
Credit so far:
- TheoAllen (original concept, composer, scripter)
- Oscar (story / plot writer)
- F# (composer)
- shikami (conceptor)
- Yanfly
Quite cliche eh?
No wonder, I made the concept when I was a teenager

New characters - Haunted Hills
I have been continuing working on graphics for commissions, my own game "CHRONICLES OF HONOR - Age of Heroes", but I have continued my work on Haunted Hills. I have added more character types to my game, other than just women who work the streets to expand the reality of being in that situation. There are people of various levels of risk at being a victimized and how likely they are to be noticed being missing. The one thing that will not be in my game, as it doesn't fit the theme is that this game will not have any male characters in it. I am actually planning on having men in the next game, but this game or any game does not have any romance in it.
Okay, so the new characters are as following, but are currently not named or place holders for now.
Diane - A woman, who served in the army, but due to nightmares that she suffers from and an addiction to drugs has led her to losing her job and house. Her family hasn't seen her in years and mostly, she pan handles to get money for whatever she needs. She goes to the center, once or twice a week to get her money from an ex-spouse who isn't aware of her hardships or if he does, he doesn't seem to care.
VICE: Drugs, alcohol
Strengths: Her strength is that she knows quite a bit about fighting, when not high on something or drinking.
Weaknesses: She can be cruel, fights when on drugs or drunk, and fights very suddenly.
Uncertain: It is believed that she might have PTSD, but other people just think that she's hiding a deep pain inside that she doesn't like to talk about.
Rachel - A runaway, who likes to hang out at the beach and is apart of a band called the 'Death Angels' and ran away from home, away from her Catholic family to become a big star. Death Angels is mostly an underground band right now, but she she trying to get it into the big stage. She and her band live in a single apartment and work part time jobs. The sad thing is that she swears that her band is going to find her at any time and that they're going to make it big.
Vice: Seems pretty normal, actually
Strengths: Kind and sweet, with a bit of sass to go along with it.
Weaknesses: She actually can say one thing, and say another thing to someone else. She can turn on you in an instant.
Uncertain: Does she have a band or is there something wrong with seemingly average girl that doesn't fit in with the group of woman whose activities all involve the street in some way.
Michelle - Another woman, who has lots in common with Diane in that they are both addicted to drugs, only Michelle has turned away from drugs when she got pregnant with her twins. She still works the streets to earn money for college and lives with a three other women in the same situation. She has been beaten, robbed and raped (Two times in the last five years), but only once when she was working as a prostitute. She hasn't been arrested, since she had her children, but has been fined and ticketed over the years.
Vice: None, only a few cigs and maybe a drink from time to time
Strengths: She is fierce, determined and it is one of the reasons that she has survived over the last year in this horrible place. There is a humanity about her, as she tries to survive the best that she can without killing anyone and will not attack first. Although, she doesn't trust people enough to turn her back on them, either.
Weaknesses: Her lack of trust is what is her biggest problem, as she has seen women with PIMPS who are beaten and even, murdered at the hands of their pimps.
Candy - (real name not known) - She is a former exotic dancer, who burnt her bridges, because she was underaged when she started and even, did porn underaged, too. Now, she is 19 years old, and recently turned to prostitution to earn money. She has a real hatred of men, as it is believed she was molested by her father, uncle or close family member. She has been arrested for stabbing a man, even arrested for assault, but she claims that they were trying to attack her, so she defended herself.
Vice: None known
Strengths: None known
Weakness: No one can get close to her to find out what her strengths or weaknesses are, as she apparently doesn't trust anyone.
( =
= ) My inspiration still is to have a group of people that people seemingly think deserve their fate and me, I am saying that this women have stories, lives and the only thing that they deserve is that they should be safe any where. No one should be forgotten, not even if they are doing things that they shouldn't or things you disagree with. I wanted to create a story with a group of women, facing a horrible situation where you can, either pull together as a group or doing the wrong things. This game has three endings, a good ending, a neutral ending and a really bad ending, and I might create a secret ending... I am still trying to figure out how to have a better way of creating the endings. Those are my new characters, but as usual, there is something more going on in this city. I do hope that people will, at least, give it a try. I am going to be selling it for $5.00, in hopes of making enough money for a new computer tower, so that's my ultimate goal. I will say this, though, none of my characters, even people who are the antagonists are throw away characters and each has/had a life, feeling and reasons for doing what they are doing. In the first game, I was making for a contest, I was pushing myself to get it done, because I was trying to make a short game and in a short amount of time. If I had been more honest with myself I would have decided that this game isn't going to be the right game for that contest and taken more time to get it finished.
I left things out of the game that should have been in there, if I had more time that is. This time is going to be very different and I am going to have more interaction with the characters. Jason, the antagonist isn't going to be seen in this game and it isn't even certain if he is in the city. Carol, the woman that he is looking for and believes that he finally found is his wife or girlfriend. It is his intention or their relationship that you will discover as you search your way through the city and avoid traps..

A blank slate
Many things can change within a week or a month, let alone six years.
Looking at the past can be fun but sometimes its pretty embarrassing, it was more like the latter for me when i dropped back here again after so long. I deleted or hidden most of my old stuff, for the better, trust me.
I've said many things in varying degrees of stupid, but at least i've grown and know just how stupid this all was, im not perfect yet but i did improve. So yeah this post is a sort of catch-up for the few people that interacted with me in this community. Im not dead just life taking you places and also realising how stupid you once were. I also own an apology to certain people that actually expected things from me but never heard from me since, super late but sorry....
I wont make any promises for anything because god knows if i can keep them, but lets just say things will be different from now on.

A Retrospective on SMT4: Apocalypse

“No longer human. Not angel, not demon. He is my puppet.â€
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
“First Impressions†Retrospective
It wasn’t too much of a secret that I was really excited for this game when it was first announced. When the release date for the U.S. approached, I saved up as much as I could, and spent nearly 70 dollars for the game and one-day shipping so that I could get the game on the day of launch. Around a week later, I have clocked over sixty hours (not counting the resets), having completed every optional side quest except one, completed my demon compendium to around 92%, and am now blocked to the ending by the final boss, despite the fact that I’m already max level and have the best equipment.
But getting blocked by a boss in Shin Megami Tensei is the beauty of the series for me – especially if the last boss is such a challenge as the one in this game. I’ve been playing on the hard mode from the very beginning, and have conquered pretty much every single boss in the game, except for this last one, who I talk about on discord quite a bit. Am I salty about losing so often? Honestly, no – getting my ass kicked like this shows that I can improve something in my set-up, and the reward of winning will be that much sweeter.

Considering all the above, and despite the fact that I need another route to play through, I think I can give some thoughts about the game as a whole. I am giving a lot of spoilers, so you’re warned.
To start off the retrospective, I checked to see what reviewers scored the game, just to show the numbers.
High-Def Digital - 5/5
God is a Geek - 9.5/10
RPGsite - 9/10
Twinfinite - 9/10
Gamespot – 9/10
GamingBlot – 9/10
GBAtemp – 9/10
SEGAbits – A-
CGMagazine – 8.5/10

Next, as far as gameplay is concerned, this is probably the most realized Shin Megami Tensei game. Combat has achieved a level of depth and polish that went past what I thought the Press Turn combat system could accomplish, mainly due to the changes to the smirk mechanic introduced in Shin Megami Tensei IV.

Smirk was essentially a buff that could be gained for exploiting a weakness, having your defenses succeed, scoring a critical, etc. – in IV, Smirk essentially made you invincible for one turn, since enemies will always miss you if you have smirk, but you had to use the bonus damage gained from smirk on that same turn, otherwise the smirk would disappear and be wasted.
In Apocalypse, smirk will stick around for 2-3 turns, and is not as strong as it was in the previous game – your evasion will not be stupidly high, but your weaknesses can no longer be exploited, and the bonus damage is still there. However, because they attached effects such as bonus healing, the ability to ignore certain defenses, and instant kill onto smirk: the infamous Hama and Mudo spells now deal normal damage, and are insanely strong as offensive spells, since having their instant kill effect from previous games being attached to smirk makes it so that the instant kill rate of success can be raised. Essentially, changes in combat make all forms of offensive damage feel reliable, and even healers getting smirk doesn’t feel wasted – even instant kill, which feels very RNG-dependent, can feel fair when it wipes you out.
Because of these changes to smirk and spells, we are introduced to new abilities that remove smirk (which were sorely missing in IV), and enemy resistances have been shifted around to accommodate this – even though Apocalypse naturally treads familiar territory that IV covered, the encounters have remained fresh.

The remade partner system is also fantastic – being able to choose your partners, and each partner having a distinct use, makes for a variety of ways to deal with bosses. Sometimes the key to victory is as simple as switching your partner, and the partner AI is competent enough to make a fight-winning move during an intense battle.
Demon fusion is at its best in this game – the demon search function is incredibly useful in narrowing down a possible demon to fuse for battle, and you can just fuse two demons of your choice to experiment if you don’t feel like using the search function (an option that was also sorely missed in IV).
To tie in with fusion, negotiation is also easier this time around – you can communicate with every demon, instead of requiring an app or skill that would allow you to communicate with otherwise unintelligible demons. The best change is that if the demon you’re negotiating has been in your party before, they might recognize you and join your party for free, eliminating the negotiation in between, which is such a welcome change when you’re trying to fuse certain demons, and require the demons you’ve used in the past. This is compared to spending cash and purchasing the demon you saved in the compendium.

As far as alignment is concerned, since Apocalypse doesn’t follow the traditional law versus neutral versus chaos of previous games, it’s more or less been re-designed to better fit the two endings Apocalypse does have. While your ending is decided by one major decision in the game, your actions and decisions leading up to that moment may result in a penalty (losing all your items or having most of your demons deleted).
As of now, Apocalypse is the best Shin Megami Tensei game as far as gameplay is concerned.
As far as the story and characters are concerned, I think Apocalypse’s cast of characters are more or less better than IV’s cast. The MegaTen community is pretty divided on this, especially since a lot of these characters are “anime†– they often make the comparison to the characters of the newer Persona games, and in a way, I’m inclined to agree with them: A lot of Apocalypse’s, and by extension IV’s, characters are just downgrades from the crew of soldiers trapped in a demonic world in Strange Journey.
I suppose it’s worth saying that Strange Journey is probably the most well-written game in the mainline series (although Digital Devil Saga and Persona 2 have better stories overall in the larger MegaTen universe), but the shame is that Apocalypse had an opportunity to be better than Strange Journey in that department. If I had to list the best characters in Apocalypse, I think Navarre and Gaston are probably the characters with the best development – while I don’t strictly dislike any of the characters in Apocalypse, those two had character arcs that were more or less a joy to watch, especially Navarre.

Navarre played a small role in IV, where he’s more or less an asshole to the protagonist, Flynn. The beauty of Navarre’s role as a main character is mainly divided in two reasons. The first is that Navarre is pretty much the target of jokes all over, and they never get old. He’s just about the funniest character in the entire game, but his development comes around when you look at the sort of person he was prior to Apocalypse. I think one of the biggest things about Navarre is that at first glance, he could never seem like a hero, and indeed, he never does anything really heroic. He’s a coward and arrogant, but the game makes a point that he carries a deep shame about his past actions, and in one of the final dungeons, he comes to terms with this. During a major decision that determines your ending, Navarre will send you a message that encourages his faith in you – the only person to do so amongst all your friends.
It also helps that he’s one of the most useful partners to have. And of course, all I said about Navarre is ultimately an opinion – he has plenty of well-deserved haters.
However, Apocalypse treats certain characters really poorly, as well – mainly the antagonists of IV, God’s Chariot and the Demon Lord. The personalities seemed to have been modified to better fit the narrative, but considering that Apocalypse is meant to branch out from the neutral route in IV, this seems like a very poor decision as far as writing is concerned. There are other moments in the game, mainly in the last two acts, that made me really disappointed with how bad the writing could get. The way they handled characters such as Toki – who was severely underutilized – greatly disappointed me since the “walking Reasons†of Nocturne displayed a more developed personality with their hypocritical actions, amongst many other things.

But really, certain moments of Apocalypse is all that really bothered me. This game is superior to IV in almost every regard, and it’s probably what I consider to be the best RPG on the 3DS as of now. I might be heavily biased, but after having played the 3DS RPG library rather extensively (and I mean I went all over with Etrian Odyssey, Stella Glow, Bravely Default, and Fire Emblem, just to name a few) – I can’t really find anything to top this game.
Atlus usually has a lot of discount sales for their games, and a Europe release is coming in winter – chances are the people who likes this series already owns the game, unless money becomes an issue (and I’m pretty much broke now, gotta save up for Persona 5 for the next five months). Nonetheless, I think that if you can grab the game for a cheaper price, you should do so – although you should also play IV, it gives a lot of context to Apocalypse and makes the latter much more enjoyable to play. You can also import your save file of IV for extra bonuses in Apocalypse. IV is also relatively cheap, and gets cheaper due to sales rather often.
I’m gushing though. I’m gushing fountains because this game has been fantastic, although definitely not for everyone. I am also attaching the official trailer on the Nintendo channel, in case you want to see some footage and hear the voices:
"My Godslayer will kill every last god and demon out there!"

Quite a while back I came up with a game idea and typed up the basic concept of the game world, after that I didn't touch it for a long time. However today I felt like doing up a logo for it, what do you think of it?
Anyway, this here is what I typed up about the game world when I first thought it up:
A world pockmarked with humongous craters so slick and smooth that anyone attempting to enter them slides to the center and is unable to get back out, so hard that no attempt to carve and path or stairway into the edge succeeds, leaving them barren and lifeless. At the center of the main continent lies a citadel containing the “Core Crystalâ€, from this crystal a number of shards have been chipped off, the same number as there are craters on the world’s surface.
For each of the craters there is a small sealed pocket dimension containing what had been in that crater prior to the Core Crystal being broken. Each of the crystal shards is in 2 pieces, a larger piece known as a Core Shard and a smaller fragment known as a Key Shard. The Core Shards are inside the pocket dimensions corresponding to them, the Key Shards are scattered throughout both the main world and the pocket dimensions, each Key Shard corresponds to the pocket dimension containing its Core Shard. A Key Shard can be used to create and open a temporary portal from the crater rim into and out of the pocket dimension holding its Core Shard. If the Core Shards and Key Shards are both retrieved, combined, and fused once again with the main Core Crystal that pocket dimension will collapse and the area sealed within it will return to its place in the main world. Only by completely repairing the Core Crystal can this shattered world be made whole once more.

Harmony the Robot/Doll? (Mature Debate)
BY READING PASS THIS, YOU AGREE YOU ARE MATURE ENOUGH TO HANDLE THIS!
Harmony is a new robot/doll that came out. It's main purpose is to be Sex Bot or is also referred to as Sex Doll. However, the company took it up a notch (well, maybe a lot of notches) as it now has artificial intelligence that's actually pretty cool.
"Harmony smiles, blinks and frowns. She can hold a conversation, tell jokes and quote Shakespeare. She’ll remember your birthday, what you like to eat, and the names of your brothers and sisters. She can hold a conversation about music, movies and books. And of course, Harmony will have sex with you whenever you want."

This is how she looks. She will be on the market for $15,000.
The reviews for it (from what I was told) are a lot of people who are...
1. Guys not good in social skills
2. Friendzoned guys
3. Guys who gave up on dating
4. Mentally Ill people
5. People whose girlfriends/wives have died and they can't get over it
6. Couples who want the fantasy threesome
7. Lesbians
8. Straight women who want to experiment
I am for it; I feel if yo want it then you can have it. One complaint was that rapists would use this to cope with their "rapiness" (idk how to explain) which is kinda dumb because I would rather a rapist have sex with a robot/doll then doing it to an actual person.
Another complaint was that it reinforces the idea that women are just there for their bodies. I will make the argument that people will always cherish relationships with other people, even other women (unless they are sexist). And you can't act like women don't have dildos. Yes, they don't talk, but if they did, I doubt that argument would be made again. Considering Harmony is really new, it will be time before they make a guy version.
While on this argument, the add-on argument was that its the "perfect date" and men can pretend to care for human interaction with a woman. Let me tell you, Harmony could be everyone. What that tells me is that you can't hold a conversation, can't be talked to about music, movies, etc., you won't remember his birthday, you never remember what he likes to eat, and you won't ever have sex with him. Any boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, or husband can be that. Heck, best friends have most of that except for sex (usually).
Like anything, off-topic subjects always ends up somehow getting into everything. For example, the argument I just told you about came from a Feminist, so therefore, the Anti-Feminists came in. Part of what the Feminist said was that feminism is to show women don't need men. Anti-Feminists said "and men don't need women." Generally, the Anti-Feminists (including women) were saying "keep your dildos, you don't need men; do what you do. We will do what we do." And, I'm not going to lie, I don't even know what the Feminists are trying to do. Women got sex machines, vibrating dildos, squirting dildos, so I don't get how there is no outrage on that. *shrug*
So there is a social and moral question to whether the Sex Bot is right. I believe, in both counts, that it is right and that it should be in the market. Now, I'm not saying put it in the bread section of Walgreens; if I had to guess, it'll be order online only because I don't see a store putting that in public with a sign like "Sex Doll for $15,000!."
With all of that, are you for or against the idea of sex dolls to this extent? Explain why on the moral and social standard. Then, if your closest friend had one, how would you react? What will you say or do, and why?

Nothing too special. Messed around with some battlers today for the first time. These are what I came up with. They're not great but I'm kinda proud of them... a little.

Negative Fairy. Just a negative of a fairy.

Lady swordswoman. Gave her a sword and changed a few colours.

Female grappler with minor hair edit.

Ice Ghost. Recolour and slight edit.

Floaty dude. Hair and clothes edit.

Bat swarm.

Rainbow Plant.
As always, enjoy~

Blogs: Stats & Facts, 5th Entry
*A month later.* Hello everyone. I'm not in the mood of writing a super-duper happy blog entry, so let's get straight to the point: in this entry, we'll take a look at a blog's settings. They can be accessed by clicking on the little arrow facing down beside your name, in "Manage Blogs".Your blog (or blogs, if you have many of them) will be listed. Click on "Options" and finally, click on "Manage Settings".
Well done, you're now able to edit your blog's settings. End of this entry, make the rest by yourself. Meh, I'm just kidding. Kind of. The settings are actually very well made. They're simple, easy to get and you have explanations that goes along with them. You can't possibly fail at setting your blog's settings.
This was probably the shortest and most useless blog entry I ever made about Blogs: Stats & Facts. However, there were maybe some people new to this site who couldn't access their blog's settings. Or maybe they've been around here for quite some time, but were never interested in changing their blog's settings, if they had any. Well, now they can. Congrats, folks.
"Stay tuned" for more blog entries about blogs. However because we covered pretty much everything about blogs in general in all of these five entries, the next entries will be very different from the other ones. Until next time, Jay.

Chapter 4 - Cosmo Mountain / Dungeon / Thoughts
Good Morning,
I know i've been quiet last few days. I accutally have been doing a lot of work on Alendalin. So before I pop up some of the new areas i've been making for chapter 4! Let me tell you about some of the changes!
At first I was deciding to go with the classic... learn magic per level. Then I was thinking about it at work on Monday and I said to myself. "You know what... there needs to be something more special then just the crazy politics going on in Farries!"
So I thought about it and I really came to liking the idea that the people of Farries have been dooped for over a Millennium and a half. That the culture of this world was contaminated by an alien species (humanoid in looks. They're hair is white, there eyes a strange blue color.) that visited the world when the dragons ruled. This alien species helped the dragons with there superior technology / magic destroy chaos tant and close the rift. As a result the iconic figures of this race were remembered as heroes and over time became worshiped as... gods.
This race in order to help repair the world left behind magical runed orbs meant to replenish the world they had to set asunder in order to cleanse the taint of chaos. This race also after they helped made an agreement to never interfear with the affairs of the world again. So they sent into motion the healing phase of the blue world and slowly it became green again. Now reside on the Moon forever watching silently. Why were they here in the first place? I was thinking something along the lines of... they were members of a vast interstellar civilization and they became strained.
The humans by nature cannot cast magic or wield it like the alien species that visited the world the first time. So they have to mount these orbs into there armor, clothing, swords, and so on to gain the ability to use this magic. So the RPG will feature a rune system (created by Kread-EX). You'll find these runes through out the game and you'll equip them to your items. Allowing you to gain access to a small list of spells. So this was my spin on magic.
Also. I wanted to make the characters special too. So I had decided to change the storyline a bit and say that Vita and Alexadner are twins. They also not human but a member of these aliens. (They don't know it as there family history is deeply tied into the overall happenings of the world.) Since these aliens they in fact are able to use magic without the attachments of rune orbs. Only before they and there parents left for the blue world the leader of the aliens sealed there powers with a spell. The only reason why Vita was able retain her powers as she grew up was because the spell can weaken over time and a burst of tramtic emotional stress can defeat it. So at the start you'll find she's able to learn spells as she goes along, but Alexander can't. Because his powers are s till sealed. In the game as we reach the climax of the story he'll later get that removed.
So this was some of my thoughts as of late! I wanted to share. Now without further delay! the EYE CANDY
Cosmo Mountain Lower Sloops.

Cosmo Mountain - The Steep East Cliffs

Now the cool thing about this map is. I've made climbing routes that if your not properly equipped it will test to see if you have climbing gear and depending on the gear you have it will reduce the chance of falling to the button of that route and dealing you damage. This is one of the challenges you have to get through for the Chapter 4 Dungeon. As you climb I've programed characters saying lines like. "Don't look down" ... and Vita yelling back "Don't you know everyone always looks down when you say that!"
And Lastly!
The Temple of the Gods (Really the Lunarian's Shrine)

So the cool thing about this area is that in the storyline. Everyone believes this to be the temple of the gods where you can be the closest you'll ever get to speaking to them. Really, it's just and abandoned base. So the inside is going to be somewhat "futuristic". At this part of the story Alexander and the group have climbed the tallest mountain of the world in efforts to catch up to the 1st Priestess of Victoria to deliever his letter and to tell her that some shadey crap is going on while she's been gone in Victoria.
The bad guys finally emerge now from there shadowy corner to make an appearance plans to corrupt the entire holy city of victoria with the blood of chaos is about to come together and if Lady Xavira returns prematurely it will make it all that harder for them. So now the troublesome party from Alendalin and the 1st priestess must be eliminated in one sweep. They do this by sending three Choas Warriors. Mercanries that have become corrupted by the seductive powers of chaos and a fiend after them.
In an earlier seen. (not shown here in the pictures). Alexander meets a Spartin on the slops and he and his war party are engaged by the black cloaks. The black cloaks are unaffected by any damage landed on them. The black cloaks slay his entire party in a masscure Alexander decided the group has to jump in and help the leader. Since magic is the only thing that can hurt a Black Cloak, Vita becomes very important.
However. After that and once you reach the temple of the gods. You meet up with Xavira and then the Fiend emergence and the first super boss battle of the game takes place!

Event Shops for MV/MZ
With MZ around the corner in a week, I've got plans to port things over from MV to MZ, revamp some older stuff, maybe try some new things.
Got a plugin request recently to make a shop that will appear "on the map".
While building it, I noticed events could actually run while you're shopping, and then found a way to allow you to control the actual shop itself with a parallel process event.

SMC Games Team Updates
We've got a few team member changes to announce. Some familiar faces have joined the SMC Games team.
First of all a welcome to Cecillia who has joined us as an Artist, she's been helping out with Spirit Timer, but has decided she'd like to join the team and work with us on our projects. We are really happy to have her join us! Her artwork is outstanding, and it's an honor to have her working with us, and look out for new updated characters in the coming weeks!
Next we have an additional welcome to Arin who's also joined the team, she is also now also open to Music Commissions via SMC Games, so if you are interested in hiring her, let her know via PM or contact her on our site here.
We're looking forward to working with you both and really glad you've joined us

Another Spirit Timer Update for you as well:
We're now in VXAce! Thanks to Galv, Tsukihime and regendo! All bugs have now been fixed and now we're working on adding a few of the extra features that we felt would improve the project no end. We're adding Audio/Screen Effects engine which means that as the game progresses and the time decreases the screen will crack, and your heartbeat will increase, upon reaching 0:00 you will be sent to the game over/ending screen!
We're working out ways to bring more immersion into the project, and we are debating what we wish to do with the timer, I'm debating whether it should be removed, and replaced purely by the Effects Engine, in which as your invisible timer ticks down, the screen cracks and you slowly disappear from the world, and have it being that that's the only way of telling how long you've got left

Or make it easier in which you have a small timer in the right hand corner of the screen, so you can SEE your progress. Let us know what you'd prefer in the comments below!

Updates shouldn't be so sporadic now....seeing as we're getting quite close and shaddow is actually updating the blog now

World of Zulavin: Vallenfell Regions pt.1
Welcome to the first post of a new series: World of Zulavin(zoo-lah-veen), the series where I blabber about all the random stuff I've written down for my game that I can't find a place for inside of said game. The game in question being Legend of Amara.
In this opening we will be going over regions on the continent known as Vallenfell, the homeland of the Valnius and the first splinter continent.
We only have two regions today, I have more written down but I don't want to drown you guys in fantasy words right off the bat. We'll do three regions next time, but for now let's start with...
The Shaded Range:
Population: 2,071
Settlements (population):
Hamlets: Aider (21), Pickstone (27), Wilhelm(54), Orerun (64), Whistling Hills (17), Cloud Peak (22), Knight's Rest (8), Inal'tor(ruins), Alewood (32).
Villages: Woodspell (243), Pickter (589), Masa(ruins), Tracker(abandoned), Entha's Trail (207).
Towns: New Albrin (787), Twilight Mist(ruins).
Description:
A mountain range on the southern west area of Vallenfell. The region is dominated by the mysterious Night Shade Woods, a large forest that stretches from the far western tip of the continent to the banks of the Darren River.
The region is dotted with a dozen or so small villages and hamlets along with one town, New Albrin, that sits on the southern border near the Amaran Plains.
With the area being one of the more mountainous on the continent, the population in the area is small and scattered. Only a few locations are capable of sustaining large quantities of crops and as such the few settlements here rarely export produce.
The only true exports of the region come from Pickter, a small mining village where the rare Iyite ore can be found within the local caves.
A small cast of wildlife populates the region, Enthas, Grasras and Yalins make up a majority of the wildlife, but large bats, insects, slimes and spiders are found within the Nightshade Woods that cover most of the region.
Valnius of Enrial descent are the majority ethnicity, with Amaran, Vonak, and Altira making up the minority tribe. Small numbers of Ganths and Sigth make up around one percent of the population.
Valnius of Amuri descent were once the dominant ethnicity in the southern areas of the region, but they were almost completely wiped out by the Scourge that the Zinuthu Dominion led against the tribe thirty years ago. Few, if any, remain in the region today. There is also a small Omrak'ral settlement hidden in the mountains known as Wilhelm.
People from this region are often known as Rangers.
(Look to the end of the post for explanations for any words or terms)
Amaran Plains:
Population: 19,329
Settlements:
Hamlets: Fen (24), Rider's Breath (16), Windwheel (46), West Rest (59).
Villages: Border Shade (361), Havel (257), Remembrance (583), Derex (472).
Towns: Old Albrin (509), Zinuthu's Watch(destroyed), Gilligan(destroyed), Feyhills (602), The Howling Hill (565), Keystep (1453), Oakhatch (1054).
Cities: First Horn (4576), Far Bay (5621), Zinuthu's Dawn(destroyed)
Holdfasts: Oakstone (176), Birchstone (294), Pinestone (152).
Fortresses: Ironstone (586), Silverstone (754), Goldstone (1056).
Description:
One of the most fought over regions in the history of Vallenfell, the Amaran Plains is a verdant region that stretches from the borders of the Shaded Range up to the foot of Mount Windpeak and down to the glistening waters of the Howling Coast. The region is home to many biomes and mysteries such as the frozen shore, the thirteen stones, the ruins of Inal'tor and many others.
The climate of the region ranges from sub-tropical in the south to a perpetual autumn-like state in the north, though the majority of the region remains relatively moderate all year round, making it the breadbasket of southern Vallenfell.
The region also was the most prolific participant in the Panwa invasion of 1958 AoM, aside from The Scarred Stones, and was once home to hundreds of the greatest holdfasts and fortresses to ever exist, but now there are only six, the legendary Six Stones. The Six Stones are the oldest and strongest fortresses and holdfasts on Vallenfell, all have survived countless assaults over millennia, and were never captured by enemy forces until the Second Tribal Wars of 912 AoR.
The Six Stones still stand today and Goldstone acts as a small city in the region.
Valnius of the Amaran tribe have always made up the majority of the population in the region, with a slightly larger than usual population of Sigth nomad tribes. Other tribes make up minorities of the region, such as the Malik and Amanusi. The Zinuthu once made up a large minority in the region, but none reside in the region after nearly all of them were butchered in the Second Tribal Wars.
The Plains were once the third most populated region on the continent, but after the Amaran Scourge and The Second Tribal Wars the population fell to the tenth, just above the Shaded Range. It is quickly recovering, though. Now standing at the fifth most populated.
The wildlife of the region is mostly docile herd herbivores with a few predators. Enthas, sheep, wild Grelhorns, rabbits and Nothirs make up about half of the wildlife population.
In contrast to the Shaded Range, the main export of the Amaran plains is produce from the large number of farms, and fish from the coastal towns. The region is also cited as the birthplace of modern music on Vallenfell and is reflected by the people's love of the art and the sale of every type of instrument one could think of.
People from this region are often referred to as Amaran, though since the founding of the new Amaran kingdom, many now use Amani.
And now some explanations of certain things.
Races:
Valnius - The closest to humans, but with bone spikes lining their forearms. Generally secluded and unconcerned with the world outside of Vallenfell or even outside of their individual tribes. They are well known for their prowess in agriculture and for their impressive resilience against repeated invasions of their homeland in the waning day of the Age of Mourning. Their patron Ruler is Lokrale.
Sigth - Think half-giants. Formerly slaves of the Ganth, the Sigth are now a tightly connected set of nomad tribes who have spread to every continent on Zulavin. They have tried to found cities and empire many times in the past, but their inherent wanderlust has seen all of those attempts ended. Their patron Ruler is Nalan.
Ganth - Think slightly short humans with insane healing factors. Formerly the glorious kings of the surface of Lothander, the Ganth are now known as mole lords, forced underground when the Sigth rebelled against them, scorching the entirety of the surface of Lothander. They are known for their ceaseless wars, unrivaled combat prowess, and highly resistant bodies. They have no patron Ruler.
Omrak'ral - Think of a regal looking gargoyle. Considered the closest to the Iyana of old, the Omrak'ral are the lords of Eboncrest, the largest continent on Zulavin. They are known mostly for their strict form of government that fits everyone into a specific societal roles from birth as well as their long standing hatred of the Ganth. Their patron Ruler is Silth.
Animals:
Entha - A strange creature that has the general build of a wolf, but the fur patterns, tail and ears of a wild cat. They often hunt in packs of six and are able to paralyze prey with their glowing eyes, or dissipate into mist when threatened.
Grasras - Think one of those giant sloths if they had horns on their heads and razor sharp claws. Grelhorns are an oddity on southern Vallenfell, as they are the only creature with such fearsome features combined with such a quiet personality. They are pure herbivores and use their horns and claws to either help push down trees or to cut through thick brush. They will defend themselves if necessary, but rarely kill any attacker, usually hitting any such creatures with the back of their paw.
Yalin - A silver and bronze colored bear with green eyes. Yalins are smaller bears that are well known for their very docile nature, often preferring to sit in place idly eating berries all day than to bother with anyone who enters it's territory. They are also often kept as pets by wealthier citizens in the Floating Isles.
Grelhorn - A pig sized armor plated lizard with tusks growing out of their chins. A much despised creature by the the citizens of the Amaran Plains, these creatures are well known as scavengers, willing to anything that will fit inside their maws, even using their tusks to break into houses and storage buildings.
Nothir - Think of a massive crow. A very skittish and generally harmless giant bird, the Amuri tribe often considered them to be omens of good fortune. While they are largely harmless most of the time, they have been known to become very aggressive for apparently no reason.

I will be lessening my works.
I will be lessening my time making plugins for three valid reasons:
- Everything is already made. I mean, if there are systems I can think of, it'd probably be something existing. But if there's a new concept I think I should make, it may come in soon. It's just my 10 hour research period is down to 3 hours.
- I will be focusing on finishing my plugin scripting tutorials to help the hopefuls. Throughout, I give this 3 hours as well.
- I will be concentrating on learning Chinese Martial Arts, I would also be reading a few sutras that has something to do with Buddhism. So if you're wondering why I don't post plugins here anymore, I am probably somewhere practicing and reading.
My time is limited in Game Development, sadly. Since I pay people making custom resources for me for the game, I need to work as well. My money is limited, so I need to put some extra effort.

(Complete) Face Progress for Vera Revisited

Edit: Okay so it ended up looking nothing like her, lol... Oh well, still looks good, original character right? Right?
My hobby game used Vera as the main character, but after demoing enough RM games, I felt the MC should use an uncommon/original appearance. This is sort of my take on her, making her older and more distinct. I'll probably recolor her for my own game but leave the original colors on her for other people to give a "time-skip" vibe. Sort of like Final Fantasy IV with Rydia. Think I'll spend the next 2 weeks of free time touching up on this specific piece until it's indistinguishable from RTP. If anyone is actually reading this blog, I'd appreciate some negative criticism since I want this to be the first portrait I'm "completely satisfied with", i.e. believe I can't do better even in the future. Anything a little more specific than "terrible eyes" or "bad hair" will help me out.

Indie in A Week 3
For the first time ever Kotori-chan actually finishes a game xD
Well after countless hours of game making I have finally created a complete game with the theme of Silence. This will be my first ever completed game and will be my entry for the Indie in a Week 3 contest

It is kinda hard to make a game within 7 days but I managed to complete it xD Time for some bug splatting and lots and lots of testing

So what`s the title?
It`s Neko Rush xD

The player escaped from the ghost and went into a room, there is a big crate that he can use to block the door.
The problem is that I don't know how to make an event with the knoking sound activate when the crate event is on a specific tile.
I know I could do set move route and "player: move up x4, move left x1" so he would be behind the crate and then somehow make him push the crate to the door, and after that event command put a switch, but I want the player to be able to control the character and be able to push the crate on his own.
P.S. I already have the crate event that's pushable in all directions.

ASOE early alpha released!
*Ring ring!*
Your wait is finally over!
I decided to release a early (and probably completely bugged) version of ASOE to the public. You can check out all the details in the official topic. As well as access the download, read the documentation and follow the discussion here:
http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/28013-asoe-asynchronous-online-engine-alpha/
(kinda short blog entry for something that I worked on quite a long time - don't ya think so?)
Yours

What happened to World of Chaos?
Nothing really happened to it. I didn't abandon it or anything (I promise). Life just got in the way between grades, graduation, jobs, etc.
With that being said, I'm not *currently* working on World of Chaos only because it's game size is large (content-wise), and I probably shouldn't attempt to release a huge game on my first time showing a game I created to the public. So World of Chaos has not been dusted but is currently on the backburner. What project am I working on? It's called Mythical Legends: Azar Chronicles (RM XP), and it is a much MUCH smaller game. I can't give a definite date on when it'll be done since I'm still going through life stuff, but as soon as I can calculate an ETA, I'll let you guys know.
Game takes place in a room between a grandfather and his grandchild. Grandfather is showinf his grandchild this book, and the story of the book is where the game takes place. Now, the story itself takes place in a realm where magic stems from Seroma (Afterlife). Seroma was created by a man named Calhadin,. The Azarian realm has 12 Davkins (AKA Kings/Queens) with Calhadin acting more as the guardian of the realm that watches over his creation, Seroma. The story starts with you waking up in some strange place you've never seen, and you have a short chat with a mysterious man before Calhadin intervenes and breaks you out of there. You end up helping to close a portal leading to the Azarian Realm, and from there, you are sent to the Davkins to tell your story. After that, the Davkins suggested you are of importance to either Calhadin or whoever is leading the invaders, thus, they decided you will help end this invasion and will aid in any way they can for when the expected final battle comes.
What I have done so far:
CTS Battle System16+ Custom Stats
Status Screen overhaul
Tutorial and Intro
Message system
On-map object interaction system
3D on-map gameplay
What I plan to do next
Level up system
Skill leveling system
Skills
Weapons
Armors
State animation tweak so that you see the name on the animtions
Note: I have a script that cycles animationsMain Quest
Side Quests
I will do the above in that order. The game should be done after I do all of that. After this game, I'm going back to working on World of Chaos. Therefore, expect to see Mythical Legends: Azar Chronicles Progress blog series in the near future.
