"Landing" on a planet

So i have been working on this again and have created the first planet and a way to land on the planet.   Planets will be areas for: - Quests - Dungeons - Gathering matterials for some side-quest (and possibly crafting)   The first planet is the one that was also shown on the first example picture. This planet will also be in the first small Demo game that i am making right now     The Desert planet will also most likely be the area for the prologue of the Main story line in the game. (More details about that later)   I am looking for planet names, i do have some myself but i thought it would be nice to give everyone here a chance to bring in ideas for planet names If you have an idea, please reply on this topic ^-^

A first example of the game

So i have created a star map for the background of the "outside world" About the worlds and areas you can move on i got this:   - There will be an outside world where you can fly around from planet to planet, this will just be outer space. - There will be planets where you can land on, you can explore the planets and you can fly around on it, do quests, find objects, things like that. - There will be a space station at every planet, here you can buy upgrades for your ship, sell resources you can collect and buy new ships (When i get more ship designs ofcourse)   Here is an example of how the game looks like right now:     I am going to use a Level system but it will be per ship, every ship will have their own level. Ofcourse it is going to be hard to level up your ship and there will be multiple ways to do so but more about that later..

Starting this project

So today i started working on a new idea. I have been thinking about it for a while and finally started to actually create it.   Started with creating a map to fly around in and to get scripts to use in the project.   Will post a picture of the map tonight after i am done!   Also, i will post demo's and stuff like that on this blog, i just feel like making it a little known in the community i am doing this ^-^   I am still looking for someone who could create custom space ships for me (Character size 32x32)
