Meet the Baddies: A Monster Showcase 2

Hello hello, cupcakes! Welcome back to the Diary of Wrath! in this entry, I'm going to discuss some more of NoGod's brutal baddies! When you thought there were just cyber-rotten bunnies and demon paintings were enough...   Let's get started, shall we?     ~Horror~ A malformed humanoid nightmare. It is said that these creatures hunt those who suffer arachnophobia, due to their spider-like appearance(extra, spider-like legs/limbs, lower jaw split to resemble mandibles). Like the Nobody, the Horror can turn up in all kinds of places, but they are the true masters of stealth, whereas they can crawl in masses without making a sound or they can be directly behind prey without them noticing If Gwen is caught by the Horror, it will either lynch her with it's barbed web or rip her throat with it's mandibles.   ~Former~ Humans that have lost their way in the Witch's Mansion turn into these monsters. The darkness has seeped deep into them that it has touched their very souls, corrupting them. the Formers are the most human-like nightmares. These monsters aren't very good at hiding, so they tend to rush down on any threat on sight. Formers use a wide variety of objects as weapons, including pipes, knives, branches, and anything else they can dual wield. If Gwen is caught by a Former, it will brutally lash at her with it's weapons, severing any limbs in it's sight, and then giving her a last, painful blow...   ~Miasma~ The darkest and the most cruelest nightmares that have ever been spawned in the Witch's Mansion.Their bodies are entirely pitch black, with red streaks, dread-like appendages hanging from their heads, and one pearly "eye".These beasts can be anywhere, emerging from the darkest shadows. They tend to move very slowly, making them easy to avoid. If Gwen is caught by the Miasma, it will break and snap almost every bone in her body then drag her corpse down into the shadowy pit the beast came from...   Believe it or not, that isn't all of the baddies. Bios and Shizzwizz: Part Two(?)

Hello hello, paper plates! Welcome to another Diary of Wrath entry! I've finally finished the, you guessed it, bios for the rest of the cast characters. If you haven't read the last "Bios and Shizzwizz" entry, refer to the following link: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/blog/474/entry-1502-bios-and-shizzwizz/   Now without further ado, lets begin!   ~Gwen~ A girl from the small town of Redneval. She lived a life of the average resident of the town. Her father owns a farm and an orchard. The schools there are highly renowned and prestigious. Everything was great and peachy... that is until she was strangely taken to the Witch's Mansion after a strange dream. Wanting to escape her nightmares, Gwen strives to find out why she has been brought to this Hell... whether it will cost her life or her sanity.   ~Garry~ A strange young man who finds himself "hunting" the Seven, even though he is really there to find the girl who appeared in his dreams. He described her as "tired of eyes and dead of face, but no less beautiful". he is the only son of Father Dior and aids the Seven in finding out the truths of the Witch's Mansion.   ~Father Dior~ The Highest Pastor of the Church of the Creator in Aarett. he is renowned for his "purges", in which he makes frequent trips around Sargosso in search of sinners, blasphemers, cultists, and demons and putting them out of their misery, piece by piece. His says his greatest achievement was to "cleanse" the Witch's Mansion. He seems to have an attraction to Rosemary for some reason, claiming that she is "liable to be cleansed by the embrace of my Holiness".   ~The Demon~ The oldest inhabitant of the Witch's Mansion. No living soul knows what it's true form is, but it prefers to take the form of a crow, a cat, and a mouse. The Demon helps Gwen and the Seven on their way to freedom from the dark, but holds a huge debt on their heads, expecting immediate payment. No one knows the Demon's true motives, for he only serves as a guide. Some say that the Demon is the closest servant of Satan.   That's all for tonight, sadly. But that's not all! Meet The Baddies: A Monster Showcase

Hello hello, bathrooms! Welcome back to the Diary of Wrath! In this entry, you are going to be introduced to a few menacing beasts. What's a good horror game without a good ol' fashioned chase?   Now without further ado, lets meet the baddies!   ~Nobody~ The most basic and the most common threat in NoGod.They are mechanical beasts that take the form of broken childhood wishes, dreams and hopes(that explains the bunny-ragdoll appearance). When idle, they are as still as statues, making them a even bigger threat in dark environments due to their immobility. When in range of prey, the Nobody will catch them and either snap their neck or rend their flesh. What makes them even more dangerous is their unpredictable motives. They may be wandering in one area, then, in seconds, they may be guarding an important area or item or even steal it or they may wait behind a door for their next prey to enter. Their stealth is something to keep you on your toes. These beasts can turn out in places you wouldn't expect them to be(not saying any examples ).   ~Splitter~ The Splitter is a violent, gangly, humanoid nightmare. Its most distinct feature is its elongated right arm, which ends in a cruel, rusty blade. Its mouth lacks a lower jaw, possibly removed in a surgical manner. It has a set of dull, rotten teeth that run down the length of its upper jaw, its tongue flailing about. it usually just uses its bladed arm and wicked teeth to attack. Splitters have great speed, so the wisest approach is usually to run away if signs of it's presence(dragging sounds, groaning, etc) are noticed. Splitters are one of the many enemies that remain motionless when no prey is present, making them dangerous adversaries in dark environments. If Gwen is caught by a Splitter, the beast will, of course, split her in half by brutally chopping at her side with it's rusty blade. Low-pitched laughter can be heard while Gwen is being executed by the monster.   ~Hellpride~ The Hellpride are corrupted paintings that wander about the Mansion 1st to 3rd floors, but they are plentiful in the Gallery District. They seem to be the protectors of Viola's "home", a painting labeled "The Lady in Red". They are simply distorted paintings that straddle about on their frames. They pose a huge threat in the Gallery District, especially when Gwen is effected with the following states: Poisoned
Limping
Bleeding(Hellprides automatically detect Gwen due to their thirst for blood)
If Gwen is caught by a Hellpride, it will turn her into a painting, with blood running down her cheeks from her eye sockets(it is presumed that the Hellpride tore Gwen's eyes out).   That's all the baddies I have for you guys today, but don't worry! Bios and Shizzwizz

Hello hello, my devies! Welcome back to the Diary of Wrath! Now, I've been working on rounding out some of the main characters by giving them their own wee lil' bio. If there is anything out of place, doesn't make sense, or just doesn't sound quite right, please let me know.   Now without further ado, let's begin!   ~Rosemary~ It is said that she has been sent to the Witch's Mansion by the Angels because she committed the sin of Wrath. Rosemary is the most intelligent of the Seven and willingly protects her sisters and the Mansion. Not much is known about her, but it is presumed that she lived a rather sad life of neglect and abuse. Her father was a bad man and ever since the divorce, he has beat her countless times for no apparent reason. She has written in her diary that an Angel came to her and told her to forgive her father for forgiveness always brings about happiness. So she did, but it never worked. Her father continued the abuse. One day, Rosemary decide to finally achieve happiness. She then brutally murdered her father with the very bottle he drank from. The neighbors called the cops because they heard "blood-curdling screams". The local police found Rosemary weeping, not of grief, but in joy, in front of a bloody pile of gore, bone, and entrails. At the moment one of the officers pulled out his handgun, two Angels took her away to Heaven and tortured her, severing her legs and gouging out her eyes then restoring her injuries. They told her that next time she becomes immensely angry, she will suffer the same torture until she calms down. They then sent her to the Witch's Mansion. Even in her angered state, it is said that, even without her legs, she can crawl faster that the average running man(that's fast...)   ~Viola~ A girl with the amazing talent of the arts. She specialized in still-life, full-body portraits, and beautiful landscape paintings. One day, Viola participated in the Beautify the Arts Contest in Aarett. Upon donning the First Place Medal, two Angels restrained her and used their magic to trap her in her painting labeled "The Lady in Red" Everyone would've felt sorrow for her, but instead thinking that Viola was being punished for a sin, she had been shunned and the Angels that trapped her took her new prison to the Witch's Mansion and was hung in the gallery there. Fueled with rage, Viola is willing to turn the Gallery District of the Mansion into a killzone, summoning corrupted works of art to tear intruders limb from limb. It is said that Viola has committed the sin of Pride.   ~MiMi~ A girl from a small town in Dystoriae. She is something of a rapscallion. Low grades, poor performance in any academics. Miyuki "MiMi" Suzumiya is good at one thing and one thing only: sleeping and goofing off. Most of her classmates had suffered various pranks planned by her. All of that changed... One day, MiMi was in the middle of a midday nap during class. Then, two Angels sprung from the Heavens and seized her. The Angels then injected their own blood, incor, into MiMi's system, giving her an eternal insomniac form of torture. She couldn't sleep or even blink. Her very dreams would lash out at her if she had. Her appearance now looks as if MiMi were resurrected from the dead, her skin pale and lifeless and her eyes were strained and black with sleeplessness. She now resides in the Witch's Mansion, where her cruel, bloody tricks would claim the lives of trespassers while she forever watches the bloody sideshow...   That's all I have for now. Hello hello, my lovelies! Welcome to the Diary of Wrath, the official development blog for my upcoming project, "NoGod". For starters, let me lay down some important things.: This game is not recommended for children. It may contain scenes too disturbing for younger players. NoGod may contain blood and gore, violence, disturbing content, strong language, sexual themes(Yuri may be involved), religious extremism, etc.
This game holds a deep and depressing story. If you are sensitive to these themes, I suggest you stop here.
I may post original art made by both me and other peeps I've asked help for and are exclusive content for "NoGod". DO NOT TRY TO CLAIM ANY ART AS YOUR OWN. Plagiarizers beware. I know a mod or two who will gladly give you the boot.
Feel free to give the best criticism/praise you can give. It will encourage me to make this project better and good for everyone, fitting their desires for this spooky project.
