The Three Sides of Mei Kimura - M.A.P. (More About Protagonists)

Well, hello there! Welcome to another entry in this Blog, about the Bounty Hunters series! Today, we're going to talk even more about our main protagonist: Mei Kimura. This is the first entry for something I like to call a M.A.P., that means "More About Portagonists", so let's get started. We're going to talk about the three parts of her personality.   == Mei Kimura == As it was mentioned on another blog entry, she is the main protagonist of the series whose age is unknown. Depending on who she is talking to and on the situation, she behaves differently:   Cheerful The way that she always wanted to be: Happy, Friendly, Smiling. Unfortunately, as a serious Bounty Hunter that always has to deal with a lot of serious stuff, this side is her rare side. Not everyone is able to see it, unless he/she is one of her great friends. When she is like this, it's almost impossible to upset or annoy her, she loves being able to show her happiness. If there is one thing that will always make her happier, are the rainy nights of Ninsio.   Emotionless The way she is always seen during her job or during a fight. Like this, it's impossible to tell how does she feel, because her voice, her face and her behavior immediately change to avoid anyone of being able to tell how she feels. It's absolutely Neutral, Emotionless, no visible feelings, as if she really weren't feeling anything. When she is like this, it's almost impossible to make her demonstrate any feelings.   Emotional Another rare side of hers, but she prefers to hide this one. It's hard to upset her, but there are some things that she is really sensitive to, and the one thing that will always make her cry is when someone mentions her older brother, that just disappeared when she was 8 without telling her anything. Another thing that might lead up to this topic and, of course, make her cry, is when a Bounty Hunter brings up the topic of how bad it is to be a Bounty Hunter (Not all of them agree with this, but some do). When she is like this, it's unknown what might happen, but it will take a while until she recovers.   Bonus: Things that Annoy Mei Kimura: Being called a little girl.
Having to fight someone at night, because it's when it starts raining. (Don't forget, every night in Ninsio is rainy)
Having to deal with another Bounty Hunter to do the same job.
Not getting paid.
Having someone to get on her way during something important.

The Thieves - An Antagonist Showcase

Well, hello there. Welcome to another entry in this blog. Today, we're going to talk about the enemies during some parts of the series.   The Thieves The Thieves are a group of main antagonists that are possibly being helped by other antagonists, sometimes. They are the main problem and the sworn enemies of the Bounty Hunters. All of the Bounty Hunters will mention their hate at least once.   "Thieves... I can't stand them, nobody can. They are the disgrace for us, Bounty Hunters." ~Mei Kimura   "I will do almost any job that is requested, but I will certainly NOT accept anything that involves stealing, because I'm not a Thief."   "Bounty Hunters earn the money, Thieves steal the money. We won't have mercy during a fight if we are facing a thief."   "If my requested job involves teaming up with a Thief, then this job is not for me." ~Other Bounty Hunters   It's certain that every Bounty Hunter will have to fight a Thief, more than just once. In the first region seen in the game, Ninsio, there are not many Thieves around, prossibly because Mei and her rival Bounty Hunter have fought most of them (and each other). What worries the Bounty Hunters is that some Thieves are different from the others in terms of strategies and/or skills and the fact that they always have one or more hidden weapons, waiting for the perfect moment to use them.   "Thieves used to be annoying, that's all. Now that other enemies of the Bounty Hunters are helping them, they are a real problem now."   Here are some things that all the Thieves have in common: Wearing a cape with a hood.
Hiding weapons.
Being extremely fast.

Evented Platform Battle System

Skyninja and I are planning on making a evented platform battle system. You get to shoot projectiles, attack enemies, etc. We are in the beginnings of making it but there is no doubt it'll work. This is more proof that people don't give eventing the credit it deserves.   It'll blow your mind and I promise you'll like it.   Vectra, how is that possible? I can't tell all my secrets. You'll just have to play it to see it.   I can't tell you much more since we are in the beginning stage of making it but I already have it all planned out. I've done it before but scrapped the game because I didn't like it (not the battle system, the game itself).

BH Mei - A Protagonist Showcase

Well, hello, everyone. Welcome to the first entry of this blog. It will talk about the general development of the games that belong to the game series of the Bounty Hunters. Today, we're going to talk about BH Mei.   Mei Kimura Gender: Female Age: Unknown --Description-- Mei is the main protagonist of the series. She is a Bounty Hunter that lives in the region of Ninsio, where she does most of the requested jobs, if the payment is worth it. Mei has the appearance and the voice of a little girl, but her age is unknown by everyone. She is often called a little girl and underestimated because of that, which is why she hates being called a little girl. Mei is one of the members of a "society" of Bounty Hunters, in which each member is in a different location around the world, to avoid conflicts. She has managed to befriend all the members of this "society", although one of them is annoying for her. Mei lives alone, since her parents possibly passed away when she was 2 and her older brother left her alone when she was 8. She really liked her brother, and still hopes to find him someday.   Loves: Rainy nights. Every night is rainy in Ninsio, so she is always seen walking around the street at night with her little umbrella.
Tea.
Her older brother.
Likes Getting paid.
Challenging fights.
Dislikes Not getting paid (of course)
Failing
Her Rival Bounty Hunter
Hates: Being called a little girl. "I am not a little girl. My appearance and voice are not my age.
Thieves. "They are the disgrace for us, Bounty Hunters."
Storm. "Rainy nights are really beautiful, but the storm ruins everything with its intensity and noise."
