Project Development on Shut Down

A few days ago, my computer's screen was damaged supposedly from a thunder storm. I hadn't used the computer in a few days and was focused on a college assignment therefore I didn't think of the machine. So now, I have to stop production development.   I hope I can resolve this issue as soon as I can.   I can still work on a few other things such as solidifying some portions of the story, work on side quests, rough versions of maps, puzzle ideas, and continue making recipes for the weapons, armors, and items.   Maybe I can scan some images and upload them, I have a drawing of Elijah I've worked on for a few months along with some other drawings of concept art and other characters.   In other news, I've been playing around with Garageband lately and I've been making some MP3 versions of some MIDI sequences I've found on vgmusic.com (Yes, I will give credit to these people.) and I think some of them are pretty good. Here's the only one I've uploaded:   That's it for now. Talk to all of you later.

The Isles Around Dragonhelm

(Copied from the Blood Shadows Tumblr blog: http://alphablast001.tumblr.com )   I’ve been thinking about the game world and instead of isolating the player to the main three islands. I’ll make smaller isles for the player to explore, visit towns, go on side quests, and collect many treasures! (Everyone loves treasure!)   To be able to access these isles, you’ll first need to find a Sea Chart that reveals the location of the isle. After that, go to a dock and speak to a boat captain. As long as you have the Sea Chart you can go to the isle. (What kind of captains are these? They don’t have their own sea charts to travel to the isles!? Who cares? It’s a video game. Logic is irrelevant.) There are 5 isles total, each with their own side quests, towns, dungeons and set of enemies.   Now for the new segment of the blog “What would you like?†I have some questions for you and I hope you have answers you’d like to share. You can also give a suggest of your own that is not asked by commenting your thoughts down below.   Would you like to have a small story for each isle (Unrelated to the main story) with some minor side quests on the side? OR would you like to have just side quests and save these isles for optional explorable areas? On subject, are there any ideas that come to your mind?

The Shadow Project

Hello ladies and gentlemen of the RMVX Ace website,   I would like to introduce a game project that I am currently working on. As you can see I'm currently calling it the "Shadow Project", don't take it that it's a horror game. When I reveal the real name of the game, you'll understand why it's called that. I have been working on it for 2-3 months on RMVXAce, but I've been working on it for over 8 months. Creating characters, back stories, the world they live in, and the events that could unfold during this adventure. Along with some other stuff.   Soon, I shall have a recruitment post on the forums themselves. That way if anyone is interested in the game I'll have a structured way of you being able to sign up.   Stay tuned for more information on the Shadow Project and more in the future!   Thanks!   Alphablast001
