So.. first entry. Ok... i guess i'm gonna keep that thing like a 'diary' for myself to watch the progress (i hope progress) i'm making until my project is completed. That seems pretty far away from where i'm standing today, but... well, no but. It is pretty far away. That's the point of this blog anyway, in the future i can watch back and see how it all began, how things changed during development (inevitable) and how it became what it will become... It's gonna be fun!

Some thoughts:

There are hell' of a lot of things to do, especially when i decided "First game, big game". I am aware that this is a common mistake people make and that leads to most of the projects to become abandoned/cancelled but i guess i was always that ambitious with things...

I do not know if following a particular order of "to do" things will help, i read the relevant posts about it but until know (still at the VERY beginning) it has occurred, more than once, that i radically change the "thing" i'm currently working on. I may work on a sound program to make/edit on a sound effect or something and then it hits me and i open another program at once and start working on that. Just examples, but it happens, so i'm gonna just 'skip' any particular order as i will anyway not be able to follow such thing.

The Project:

Now, for the project itself, as i imagine it, (i have a serious amount of various notes all over my desk about it) it will be

an "Science-Fiction Adventure RPG" and will feature turn based battles. That's the best i can think of to describe it.

The battles will be intense but not that often, as they will not be the part to focus on. The story is gonna be. The game will heavily rely on it's story and the player's walk; through this adventure. Quiz's will also play a big part in the game plus the ability to reach your goal through different ways.
