Well, I finally steeled my nerves and opened a logo shop because I'm running out of my own things to make logos for. Gotta admit, I'm kinda nervous now.

What would a restaurant's purpose in a town be? My first guess would be that the player eats food/regenerates health, but that's what an inn's for...

If we're talking in a midevil fantasy world they didn't really have specific restaurants, but in terms of a modern day settings it would be a good alternative to inns. Also it could be a place where if you bring enough ingredients you can get special Health(or whatever)/Mana(or whatever), or maybe go the way of persona 2 and have it be a place for buying weapons.
