For the record, RMMZ, despite stating that Windows 8.1 is the minimum requirement, does actually work on Windows 7! Both the editor & even a test play worked fine, although I did experience some slowdown during battle, including battle animations. So if you're still using Win7, you're not excluded from using it. Just make sure you have good hardware (processor, graphics card, RAM, etc.)
