The fact that it isn't in English doesn't bother me Especially if it's just a plug-n-play. Though, the fact that the TouHou Battle System is only available for RGSS2 (RPG Maker VX) and not Ace is killing me here haha. Though, if I ever dig back into RMVX (i don't know why I would but hey), this was helpful. Otherwise, there would need to be a version for RMVXACE I laughed at the 'TouHou-style bullet hell' btw- 10 replies

I believe I have found exactly what I was looking for here! ---> http://www.atelier-rgss.com/RGSS/System/ACE_SYS22.html and http://www.atelier-rgss.com/RGSS/System/ACE_SYS25.html These are actual battle systems and the only thing I have to do manually is set the rewards/EXP after the battle! This is exactly what I needed! PROBLEM. It's all in another language :\ Configuring and editing the script to my needs is very difficult. I put some areas in a translator, but it's still very roughly translated. It seems like the language is Portuguese? If it could be translated, then this would perfect everything in my game thus far. I will try to work with it right now because I'm too excited to put the same aside and wait, but a translation would be greatly appreciated! I would like to know if I could configure which buttons I want to use for said battles. I kind of want to use arrowkeys instead of letters in this until a later difficulty level because I tested it out on a level one battle and it's still pretty difficult using hand/eye coordination; especially since the letters are awkward on the keyboard (ASZX and the arrowkeys..) WSAD would've been a better choice in my opinion, but that's why I'm hoping I can configure the letters in which the player must use in battles///- 10 replies

This is actually very, very helpful in what I'm looking for thus far! The fact that it isn't a battle system isn't too terrible, but I find trouble using it as the actual battle system. I am still open to a simple battle system that uses this same simple tactic. Though, the multiple enemy thing may also be a problem; there should only be the sprite of the enemy(ies) that are in the battle with you. Not random spaceships haha. Though, the gist of what I'm looking for is still there! @Rikifive - Thank you also for your support in the idea! I'm happy to hear that it's actually possible to carry-out a battle system such as these :") I may just settle for another unique system I find laying around, but if this script gets written, I'd definitely put it in my game ASAP. So, for now, I will use any old one just for the sake of continuing my story, but whoever takes on the responsibility of making this script, you're the real MVP!- 10 replies

WOW I didn't expect so many replies I have added you all so far to my watchers list :3 All of you have some great things in your galleries and big projects, right? I'm currently working on Black Butler the RPG's sequel. My first game (the first game I've ever shown to the internet ; w ; ) was REALLY short. I spent 3-months on it and became impatient with it, so I rushed it (my mistake entirely) So I am trying to make it up by making the sequel a ton better DX

Sorry for the late reply everyone D: Thank you for responding to my post you guys! @artlis I tested the script and got an error at line 11 where it says @ sound_timer += 1. @DP3 I'm willing to wait as long as I could :3 this is a very small feature in my game, so it's not a big deal if I wait very long. -

Oh, thank you! owo But, your method isn't pointless at all, just different! I use to clear everything out when I first started using this program. Only because I felt that everything had to be precise. But, then it takes less time when you just switch out in my personal experience -

LOL I think he/she knows how to 'make' an RPG XD They were asking how people start out their games. And to reply to this topic, I don't clear out the database's skills and monsters....or anything really. I rename skills and items depending on what kind of RPG it is. If it's a modern RPG I'm making, I change 'potions' to 'soda' or something else modern. Then after I replace the database, I prepare the intro of my game and the rest will follow on -
