Try building some Agility and MAX HP to stay alive longer

The enemies is not respawning. Go to Rafina in the litte village to the southwest (check the map by pressing esc when travelling overworld) she has something that will make it easy for you to find your way around.

Thanks for the review! Since Im a fan of the Metroid style exploration kind of games, it's very possible that you will see more games of this kind from me in the future. The Guardian was made in just 2-3 months. It is a proof to myself that I can make a complete rpgmaker game. Next time I can focus more on making the ingame design really interesting

Sephiron, thanks for playing! Nice to see you made it all the way through. The final boss is definitely not rpt, lol.

The game has been updated! I'm having trouble editing my original post but I managed to put up the download links.

Ok, I hear you. I guess a little more guidance wouldn't hurt.

Game can be downloaded here http://bit.ly/VoD5ei - (RTP included) http://bit.ly/St3c4u Travellers from Guna found this new continent hundreds of years ago. It was strange, in the middle of the this new continent stood a grand palace seemingly built in ancient times. In one of the rooms stood a statue, scripts on the walls talked of a guardian. They named it "the Guardian statue". Resources in this new land were plentiful, they decided to stay. Then one day, four beasts, thought only to be a legend awakens. Rulers of thier own castles they must be destroyed to bring back peace to the continent. The Guardian awakens. Take on the role as the Guardian in this exploration driven rpg that should take just over 2 hours to complete Edit: Removed download links, Big update in the making. File size: 29 MB. RTP included: 214 MB. The Guardian The guardians purpose is to protect the people of the continent. In times of crisis the Guardian awakes to fulfill his duties. He finds the King and his people has fled into a room somehow protected by the palace. You must cleanse the continent from evil and once again restore peace. The King The King now lives in the palace found by the travellers. He will do anything to keep his people safe. Sera The Kings right hand, able to use magic. World map Battle The Guardian is often about finding the right item and using it in the right place. Here is a preview of a few items and an example of how they can be used: From the left: Flame: Burn down bushes or trees to reach new areas Pickaxe Find hidden dungeons in the mountains or break a fragile wall Lantern: Enables you to visit dark areas Dash boots: Enables you to dash holding "shift" The Guardian uses some downloaded scripts and I want to credit and thank the following: Woratana- Screen lock script Yanfly Engine Ace - Stop All Movement v1.00 Tsukihime - Picture wrapper Edit: New worldmap

Hi, Love your script and using it in my game. I recently started to add save points in my game and discovered that after displaying a picture using your script i wasn't able to save my game anymore. I looked in another thread http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/4601-yanfly-saving-glitch/ and noticed others have the same problem. However using his fix (Comment out code) didn't help for me. Do you have any other ideas on how to fix this problem? Or could you show me some code on how to display a picture without using your script?

Hi rpgmaker fans! My name is Daniel and Im from Sweden, any other swedes on this forum? I really enjoy making rpg's using rpgmaker, although I've only just made one full game to date Im about to release my second. Im a beginner at ruby but I have been programming with object oriented languages before so Im not totally lost in that area, I also like to compose my own music for my games. My weakness is my mapping skills, I do my best to make it look decent, this is the bit i enjoy the least when making a game. I always try to make my games original. Now lets have fun making games! see you guys around!

Ruby/RGSS3 questions that don't deserve their own thread

Hi, is it possible to create weapons and skills in script? That would make it possible to customize wepons and skills in game.
