Ayyyye people, you ever wish you too could have amazing side battle monsters? Tired of the default? Drowning in over used art? if you answered yes to any and all questions then I Inazuma the lightning may have something for you! Here on the Zuma farms, we take care of our pixels raising them from the time they were small until they are big enough to leave home and start adventuring in your game! Need a harpy? No problem! How about different kinds of slimes? order and your wish is my command! how about a seven head fire, ice, and poison breathing hydra that is every colour of the rainbow? Sure but that is going to cost you! come on down to my neck of the woods and see what I can do for you! -
Working on some more pixel art battlers, I love working on monsters so if you got any suggestions let me know!

Should violent games be banned?

There have been numerous of studies done that have said that violent video games makes kids violent in fact the studies reveled that violent video games revealed stress and make them have an alternate source of getting rid of frustration. Personally I do not believe that violent video games make people a bad person or anything because as a kid I played halo as a kid along with a lot of other shooters that was raited M and nothing happoned to me. I feel that the whole violent video games thing is being blown out of proportion with bad apples "oh he played call of duty and then he killed 11 people it must be the games fault because he clearly wasn't INSANE or anything." -

Well I have been hard at work getting monster and character sprites in order here is a few of my sprites on the bottom. While I work on the game I really want to animate these sprites but I know that if I do it will take time off developing the game and making the game takes 50 times longer. Although I'm still developing i'm taking inspiration from tabletop games like D8D. I'm still tweeking the sprite style a bit and I'm kind of aiming for a style like fire emblem crossed with jump ultimate stars (dont ask how lol)

I have decided to work on an rpg like tales of the world with a battle system that takes you into a like platformer battle system where you have a stage and you can attack others in a fast pace combat arena. I have started making sprites of characters and monsters along with other sprites. I may just make a demo to see how far I can get it. Here are some stuff I have so have fun. again i would say to do research on other sprites to see how they would do it because i can tell you all the details you need but if you dont go out and look and learn for yourself you'll be ending up at the same place you are now.

I like it for your first try but well the thing is about bases your suppose to make it look like you didnt use a base and i know your new at this but look how the skin is detailed and shaded and try to copy that. I love how you added a light source to the pants and tried for a unique outline but the execution was done bad. Look up references for what your doing and bring up a few different sprites to compare and in no time you'll have a good looking sprite.

i would say look at DnD for a good baseline of classes because they have the base tank, range, dps, support, and rogues. it shows you a few different options for your standard classes. I only say DnD because i'm showing how each similar classes are different. -

you could instead of having a lot of classes that fill similar roles in the party just have a skill tree. It would both make it easier on you but it would also allow you less work in the long run instead of having data for fifty different class changes instead of what should be 3. take the mage for example which i am basing this off of because it has too many classes. the conjurer, the arcane mage, and the elemental mage could be the final classes but each with different skill "trees." to pick your skills from. Although this is assuming this is a regular rpg and not a tactical rpg. Yes I love having many classes in rpgs but they have to fill roles differently than each other. If you want to have different magic classes sure but make sure they fill different roles and act different. Take the fighter and barbarian from DnD. They are both tanks right? to some extent yes. But you don't play a barbarian like a fighter because they play their role completely different. The barbarian has tons of hp so he can charge in axe spinning while your can have your fighter dawn a shield and walk in with his armor adsorbing all the blows. -
Hello ladies and gents My name is Inazuma and I do pixel art for game mostly platformers and rpg's. I'm here to show you what I have been working on so lets get to work shall we? The first screenshot is on the unfinished battle screen. It dosnt look like much but it shows you on a screen agenst enimies in a city. The game is a mixture of a platformer and an rpg in the sence you go around on an rpg map but when you go into a battle the map turns into a platforming stage where you have your attacks and skills. Think of the tales games but with a bit more movement involved. Please note that this isnt anything like the final product because it is no where near it I just threw together a bg out of sprites i had made. Here I have an animated attack that I'm working on to show off the animation quality of the attacks and building on how I am going to do the attacks and animations in future itterations of the game. http://inazumathelightning.deviantart.com/art/Combo-458602439 I also have These sprites will show you the style of the game although a bit anime'ish right now I think it is the right way to go because you can give characters more of a unque look if they have wacky designs like you tend to in anime. Well after a few months I decided to redo my style for the rpg I'm working on and I like it so far although the swordsman that I did as a test looks weird around the face and all I'm trying to get a good combat style that is good for this sized sprites. I have test slashes but i may change that. I love the look of the slimes I made although I may change their colors up a bit. I also did a test of how the character holder sprited would look in my style.
