Dmarriin- Thanks! I will rework my straight pathways. But I figured that the cave was more like a maze. Should I still change it? IMEmperor- I would liek to have messages between you and me going back and forth about redoing my tree shadows. If more convenient, you could just post here because I have no idea what you're talking about with redoing shadows with parallax mapping. O.o Btw you two, the forest trail isn't a well traveled path.

I am currently working on a big game and would like to know what people would think of my mapping abilities. So first off, I have a screen shot of a forest trail (i decided to not use trees with the trail): Leading to a lake (the bush with flowers is important and not random): ' By going back out through the forest trail you reach a house (I feel like I need something on the blank grass areas but I don't know what): And here is what it looks like inside the house along with one of the rooms: And later in the game, there is a cave dungeon: Any feedback?

I posted this for nothing! Turns out I had to start my game from the beginning because I had a save file in the middle of my game. CASE CLOSED xD

Where do I start? Well for one, I'm currently working on my own game project that isn't based on any other game so it's completely original! I will incorporate some characters such as Saber (Fate) and others like what Kingdom Hearts did with Final Fantasy and Disney characters. I also joined this community so that I'd be able to get help creating resources, avatars, etc. for my project. I hope to get a lot of help!
