    Muhahahaha I'm the evil guy that appears at the beginning of the game, I'm so retard that I give information to the player that in order to fight againts my ultimate spell he has to reach lvl 99... ALT+F4.

    Couldn't agree more with you, I really too hate the small RPGVX style sprites, unfortunately, due to not having a Pixel artist we are stuck with those for now. When we make a recruitment page it's one of the first things we should ask (Along with mappers and scripters.) Again, I couldn't agree more with you, the thing is that our "mapper" or at least the guy who decided to make the map, hadn't so much mapping skills. In fact, this is the very first map he has ever done. Unfortunately it's not so much that the video cropped it, but the fact that Yanfly's Engine Symphony - Pop Message (For some reason I can't seem to be able to find the script's link) appears to be bugged, when there is a long message, it throws the left part of the message out for some reason. (I can't believe they make scripts like that without properly testing them.) and to think that this is the best script I ever found for speech bubbles... Yeah, this is definitely by bad. You see, English is not my native language so, grammatical errors are bound to happen (at least for someone at my own English speaking level.), anyway, I'm currently asking assistance from a friend who speaks English significantly better than me. Thanks again for spending your time reviewing the intro, We have high expectations from this Project as well, especially on what according the scenario, we are putting a lot of effort putting together the pieces smoothly so that there won't be any plot holes since the script is quite complicated. My main focus is to let the player take some breath's before diving into the deep. I've seen numerous RPG games (and numerous RPG Maker games.) in which the whole story is thrown at your face as soon as you press "New Game". FFXII for example and most of the RPG Maker games (who claim to have a decent scenario do this REALLY OFTEN.) The result from this is to make the game's scenario confusing and hard to understand. Since most of us who making this project are RPG lovers, we have gotten sick of how the average RPG Maker (and generally the RPGs.)handle the storyline.

    One question: How did you make the clouds move above the screen? Is it a paraled event that handles pictures, a paralax with a script to allow paralaxes be on top? or something else?     Skill Ideas you can do with Custom Formula

    Is there any way to reference a weapon/armor equiped on user? something like a.equipped_item[weapons[x]] where "x" is the items ID. I'm planning to do something like when the user has this equipped the damage will be different.

    Could someone explain the rules of the game? Cause it seem to me like the game is playing by it's own.. The only thing it let you do is select the deck, isn't at least any way to choose with what card you fight or it has to be strictly with the order you set the deck?

    FP Equip slots

    Are you sure? Cause when I have Yanfly's Equip Engine with the couple of your scripts I cannot dynamically increase the Equip Slot, I made an event that runs the command to increase an Orb Slot by one but nothing happens, then I tried doing the same with a standard equip slot like Headgear for example but the same again... I tried rearranging the scripts to any possible combination but it still wouldn't add any slot. At first I thought that there might be an uncompability with tankentai but tankentai has nothing to do with the equip scene. Have you actually tested it and it worked fine on you?

    Adding Equip Slots during Gameplay

    Well what I actually need is much more simple than Suikoden system, it sure is nice, but the fact you are not able to equip your skills from the menu and be forced to backtrack to an NPC to Attach said runes makes it a little bit.. Also what is wrong with regular MP? I noticed at the demo that MP changed to something like 15/3/1 instead of somethig like 78/230 anyway. I haven't done a throughout search through the script so I don't know if you can customise these featues, but we really hope so cause it would be just what we needed.

    FP Equip slots

    Wow thanks, really thanks for going into trouble, In our game you see each character starts with a low number of Orb Slots where there, the player can equip Orbs to have characters learn skills. That in addition to stat distribution system add a whole new level to user customization. Apart from the normal equipment a character can equip he can also equip Orbs to make that character able to Equip new equipment. Over the course of the game the Orb slots will increase up to 8 Orb slots. Anyway, I noticed your script doesn't support dual wield, I assumed that you removed (or it was never there.) this function due to potential collision if a user of the scripts decides to add more than two weapons, which is understandable, but I can't understand why couldn't you just leave it there and have an option like "Support_Dual_Wield = true/false" option because game like the one we are making wouldn't support any additional slots for equipment other than Orb Slots On a side note while you have the Script required for Dynamic Equip Slots (Core - Equip Slots.) supporting Yanfly's Equip Engine, I noticed that the Dynamic Equip Slots doesn't support that script itself, which made me really curious, We thought that it would be awesome to not only being able to Dynamically increase standard equip slots (Weapons, Shield, Headgear, Bodygear, Accessory) but also being able to dynamically increase Custom Slots such as Orb slots and such. Also thank you again for making that script, it was pretty awesome of you. Thanks again!

Yes they didn't they were rather glitchy on Tankentai, the one kept saying "Couldn't Steal" even though you were able to steal and Yanfly's Steal script throws error. Also I need to report a bug on ATB Script for Tankentai: When you have a dead party member or generally not being able to get turn due to Paralyze or something, you can't escape the battle, which is really weird since you need to escape a battle when you see that you can't win which means that in most situations of these you may have at least one K.O. party member. On one hand I find it logical since if you escape the battle you leave the others behind, but on the other hand it completely nerfs the escape command. I mean, what's the point of not being to escape if all your other party members are dead and you see that you have no chance of winning. Anyway I really find it weird that you need all the party member's ATB to be full in order to escape. That guy who is down takes into the grave the other three for example which is kinda retarded. No offense.

    I personally hate it when people add too much text on the beginning of the game, especially if the following plot depends on these text, unless is being made right with a appropriate visual representation.
  17. Well anyway I personally prefer this script rather than Victor's scripts since it's much more simpler and easy to understand. What I want to ask is: Is it possible for someone to make a Steal Script compatible with the Tankentai that the steal success is based on User's Luck? I've seen a lot of Steal Scripts out there that with a few configurations I bet they would be fine with the tankentai as well. Thank's for reading.     FP Equip slots

    Yeah me too, you see in our game you equip Orbs which learn you skills and now I'm forced to have each player start with already 7 slots since we are not able to make any modifications later. By the way I'm glad you are still working on these cause I really need this. It wouldn't be nice to have each character start with already too many Orb slots because it ruins all strategy and make it more like Orb hunting... I would use Victor's Materia system which was inspired from FF7 but that would collide with the storyline since Orbs are not supposed to be equipped to character's weapons but in their own soul. And having few slots at first will make it more strategically for the player to figure out a way to put those Orbs in good use. We are currently using Yanfly's Equip Engine so it would be more useful to us if you could make a modification to that script since it's more functional (No offense meant.) than this one. Thanks in advance. Edit: If you could only fix this description problem bug and the bug when you are adding a new slot we will use your script and give you credits.     FP Equip slots

    Hello, sorry for necro post, but I couldn't help but notice a slight visual bug on what according the description box. Although the script seems to work correctly, the description box seems to be messed up, when I go over the "Weapons" section for example, it shows me the description of the equipped Shield (wtf?) and when I go to shield it shows me the description of the sword. If I add another slot like armor and such the thing gets even more messy on description boxes, rendering the script unusable due to poor visual representation. So, it seems I'm stuck with Yanfly's Equip engine which unfortunately has no ability to add new slots during gameplay. This script would be awesome if it wasn't so poorly designed. it's the only script I found which has the ability to add new slots as the game progresses... But even that unfortunately seems to be buggy,

  21. I was wondering why the demo doesn't work, I've tried downloading it twice but it seems like both versions (the one I downloaded a week ago and the one I downloaded few minutes ago.) don't work, I was intrigued by the awesome artwork and I was looking forward to see the scenario as well.
