This is so awesome I can't wait to play this! Do you have a round about date for finish?
  2. New Character Photos and new Characters added!! New Screenshots added!! New Demo Coming Soon.
  3. Check the main post for a new DEMO!! I had to make some story changes and some random back-end changes you probably aren't interested in There are also two youtube videos in the "Videos" spoiler tab to take a look at!
  4. Alright I understand now what you're talking about. The player opacity transition is definitely something that I like. The switch waiting gets a little old (even for me) and I've thought about changing that for a while now but I'm rather fond of the transition to go say, in a building (character fades out when he enters the door).
  5. I understand that. Taking the waits out for flipping a switch wouldn't be difficult but the waits for traveling between rooms is a puzzle to me. What kind of a wait are you experiencing? If it's lag then I need to fix it.
  6. Thank you I appreciate that. I actually thought about splitting this into two games but then decided against it. Yes I know 1.3 GB and it's only about 65% complete but most of the size is music files and parallax mapping.
  7. VERGO The Jade Ring has been renamed VERGO Tale Of Betrayal 2 due to plot holes and such with the inclusion of The Jade Ring. This game now has a completely revamped story and a bit better guidance throughout the game. Things are about 50% complete at this time and I'm working to finish this game very soon. Check out the Screenshots section for viewing pleasure. The demo is ready in the downloads section. Most every script was either built by me or heavily modified to fit my needs. Please do not ask for scripts as they are built into the game and can't really be pulled out separately. I'm always looking for feedback or features people are interested in so feel free to post those, however, because I'm so far into the game it would have to be something that can be added easily (such as a script) or something really good that I can't pass up. Thanks for viewing this topic, please check out the spoiler tabs. I also feel the need to say this is the second VERGO game. The first game's story is spelled out in the Story section, however, there are major spoilers if you plan to play the first game. 8. I'm impressed. Very rare that I see a project with decent mapping. It's actually a turn-off for me when I see projects with default RPG Maker resources and bland mapping. Great job on your maps. I'll be interested in playing this when you're done.

    Parallax Mapping (Help)

Parallax mapping is very ambitious. I have PM in my game but I've been using RPG Maker for about 4 years. If you're just starting out id highly recommend getting a handle on the basics of mapping the RPG Maker way. Also, if you're going to do well with PM you'll most likely want a high level program such as Photoshop to create your maps with. You'll also need a script for PM as well.

mapping My first parallax mapping ..~

I must say you've done well for your first parallax mapping project. Water is one of the hardest things to parallax map with. What I ended up doing is using an animated parallax script and creating a PNG sequence of water. Then I have terrain above the water and terrain below the water. The link below will show you a pullback of my water town and what my water looks like. http://www.mediafire.com/view/?x70cb5xnk59rpbq
