    Thank you for your input, unrealdonnie. Always great to get new ideas. It would help to write an entire background of important characters. Something I plan on doing no doubt.

    One thing I'm not sure about parallax mapping...

    Thanks, tags are added. Thanks for the replies, I have a better understanding on how to set passability on the maps now. But still one thing I am not certain of is how to set the STAR on the maps? Meaning, how do I make it so players go behind certain objects (like a tree). Like I said I made a blank tile set to the star, but the player just walked above it, not behind. Or do I have to place any objects the player walks behind on the actual map, and not as a parallax?

    Thank you everyone for the replies. All great advice and definitely will help me along in developing my story more. This is what I needed to hear. I know now it's generic but I have to develop it more, work on it, and create great characters and an interesting, unsuspecting twist! Always good to have a twist. I’m going to read some stories/books/plots of other games, get more ideas and just work on developing the story more. It doesn’t just happen overnight! Again thank you to everyone who did reply. I truly appreciate all of your insights.

    No problem, just added some now. Edit: I want to add certain things to the save menu, such as steps taken or battle encounters. These two are easy since it's already in the game. But how do I use variables to track certain things like number of battle escapes, or total enemy kills, or times the player was defeated in battle?

    Bug found in Tsukihime's Game Log script

    That fixed the issue. Thank you, much appreciated! Also another thing I just discovered, the steps counter doesn't seem to work right. And this was tested in a new project just to be sure. For example, I moved two steps, it said I moved three times. I made four steps, it tells me I stepped ten. Any idea on this one?

    Hm, thanks for the link. I don't think it will work for me, since to set it up you need some basic knowledge of scripting. Plus I kept getting an error with the script. Any other ideas?

    Understanding Yanfly's Enemy Levels script

    Thank you for the reply. I am understanding this a bit more now with your explanation and just doing a bunch of random testing. I changed a few things and it's working the way I like it to. I appreciate it. Also yes I am using Enemy Target Info. I thought level would only be displayed when scanning an enemy, but it appears in the header as well. Oh well, not a big deal. Thanks again!

    Error with script: Cache Back (Used with Galv Menu Engine Effects)

    Hmm, I dunno, they are different scripts, problem seems to be with the Cache Back script. If I remove it, error goes away. But then Galv's Menu Effect loads very slowly. I just discovered the error also happens when transferring maps and going back. So if I go to Map 1, go to Map 2, then back to Map 1, the error occurs.

    Moghunter's script is similar. Ccoa's script had a lot more options for weather effects. Thank you for that link, this will do for now (unless someone actually wants to attempt to convert Ccoa's original script lol) Thanks again Edit: Would help if his script was in english. Makes it hard to set it up in my own game. Off to google translate!
