The new challenges are now up, The first player that defeat the last boss of the Scarlet Devil Mansion will get $20 equivalent of steam wallet. The first player that defeat the last boss of Leazas Castle will get $10 equivalent of steam wallet. I'm not comfortable giving a challenge without beating it first. Still have to wait a few days, though a lot of bugs have been fixed in this version. This version mainly: Added credits ingame Fixed a bug with third Stage 4th boss Red Stone Status that lasts on the next parts Increases Red Stone Damage Reduced HP of third Stage 5th boss last phase Buff ATK and nerfed HP of all enemies Nerfed Damage Dealt of all characters by ~25% Nerfed Penance and Siphon Life perks by increasing their Mana Multiplier and reducing the amount Healed You can now browse through your passives in combat, scrolling down in the commands will show the Passives Menu Cleared a lot of not used resources for ~-150 MB Difficulty now increases gradually less than before but the first difficulty is ~20% harder Fixed a bug making Execute perks not doing the right damage boost added Monitor Sync FPS Option Touhou Spellcards are now automatically casted at the beginning of each phase, most of them got nerfed by ~30% in return Smoother Move transition Fixed a bug causing the third stage to not return to World's Map upon Gameover Driftwood have played the game and highly recommend you give it a try! This version mainly: Polished everything as much as possible Changed how skill learning work, you can now spend skills points to upgrade skills and stats. You get 2 points at start and 1 point every 3 level. You can now see which special skill an enemy has. Bosses use the power bar to do full power skills while troops use it to power up every 2 turns. Regain 20% HP/MP if using end turn while there are no enemies. Calculation of XP is the same as gold gain and is multiplied by 50% for every added difficulty. If defeated, you can retry at the same spot with full mana/HP but you lose half of your rating in the current stage. You can see how many actions your characters has with status similar to how it works for enemies. Nerfed Black Lotus life on first fight and the minions afterwards. You can now upgrade Weapons and Armors with the shop, upgrading increases all it's stats by 10% and HP/MP by 50%. You can now enchant Weapons and Armors with the shop, enchanting increases 1 to 2 random stats. Leveling Enchant also improves the results. A lot of content has been fixed and polished, skills got remade entirely. V1.13 will be released with an appropriate challenge once my playthrough is over. You can start watching the first part of my playthrough which is the prologue here Next parts will come out soon.

The second part of Rance - The Brutal Legend is now out. Wait until the next version if you want to make sure to be bug free as I cannot catch them all on the first attempt. The challenge will be up on the next version. This version mainly: Changed the way how the pace of the game is. You are now in combat the whole time. Get more rating/gold by completing the stages as fast as you can. Time passes by using the skill "End Turn". New Content "Leazas Castle" with 5 new challenging bosses. Current bugs: Skill name is still shown on top when certain event occurs and disappear when player get back the control of the character. Sometimes you'll get a certain amount of deaths when you actually have none. Killing an enemy will sometimes make said enemy have a different death sound than what it should be.

With V1.07 now out, the Black Lotus challenge has come to an end, no one has managed to beat it or at least I didn't get any notifications of someone doing so. New challenge: $25 in steam gifts to the first 2 players that manage to beat the secret Boss A rating of at least 250 is required to unlock it. With V1.04 now out, I feel like there are very few bugs/balance issues left to work on. With the lag(http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/44852-weirdest-lag-issue-you-will-see-ever-need-help-fixing-it/) still there and MV coming out in 3 weeks, l will probably just release a laggy version and transfer my database to MV. It's just unfortunate that this lag fucked me over as soon as l was done. Oh well. This version mainly changed the ATB system into a more fast paced one. This is the last Ace version expect for bugfixes, Uruza story will also be back on MV since the actor sequence lag was even worse here. Current v2.50 issues: Actor sequences will lag over time(no one has managed to fix it yet) The Core challenge has come to an end, 1 streamer has managed to complete it. The new challenge is now on: $6USD or 3 CS:GO Keys to streamers that manage to kill Black Lotus in Hard difficulty with the new battle system. 2 more Streamers will be able to get that reward.
