  1. Hey Everyone! I am working on a rune factory fan game, mostly for my parents, who are fans of the series and was disappointed by the series ending, due to neverland LTD going out of business. I have a good solid story built for the game and the game world, as well as many of it's characters written out and I have started to put the game together. Now, that being said, there are still many things I need, and could definitely use help with, such as scripting, spriting, map design, music, and so on. I am looking for a team of willing fans and help to help get the project rolling, and I am willing to pay for the help I receive, which I can now do now that I have a job. Anyone willing to work with me on this project, please contact me so that we can get down to it. I may have a spriter lined up, but it may be a while before he can help me out.     Developing npc movement

    Hi everyone, I have a favor to ask. I need to program a section of my fangame, I have a five nights at freddy's section, and want to have the animatronic's hunt the player, but have no idea how to program that. Can anyone help me out?

    Custom Mini Game Script

    The mini game basically is like this, In my friends game, a character gets badly wounded and their heart stops beating. The player can revive them by preforming CPR. Basically, a bar and timer comes up on the screen and the player must push a button, like the space bar, push it once and the bar fills a bit, then you have to push it again, if you push it too soon, the bar empties, and if you push it too late, it fills only a little and you repeat this rhythm until either the bar is full or the timer runs out. it would create tension while the player tries to save this character.

    I fixed this a few pages ago. You have to delete the underscore between Scene_Manager so it is just one word: SceneManager Yeah, I figured it out as well, but thanks for taking the time to answer, appreciate it.

    Hey, I'm having a few problems, I'm getting a similar problem as sean 2099, except mine says Script 'Game_Interpreter' Line 1411: NameError occurred uninitialized constant Game_Interpreter::Scene Manager, everytime I trying calling the script to test it. it looks the same as the demo from what I can tell, so what am I doing wrong?

    Sonic The Hedgehog RPG idea

    Hey all. So recently I started a new project, one that I've been meaning to do for a while, a Sonic RPG. I've been a fan of Sonic for a long time, since his 1989 video game release on the genesis, and have remained his fan since then. However, ever since Sonic and Knuckles, I haven't played very many of his games, thankfully. His transition into the modern game era hasn't been kind and I've found that his character is sadly lacking in development. Only the comic's have thus far remained true to the character and done a good job building him and its a shame that not many people know all of what he's gone through. That being said, I decided that I was going to create an RPG that would be more appealing to older audiences, a darker, more grim setting with believable character progression. Basically, Sonic has been gone on a lengthy adventure with Tails in another dimension, and returns to find that the world has been taken over by Dr. Robotnik and he is forced to go underground, starting a resistance against him, rescuing friends and fighting back. A couple of ideas have already been implemented, The ability to play the main story as characters other than sonic, Branching and extensive romance sub plots, for the fan to explore other relationships besides the default ones, a crafting system to add to the believability of being underground, a mission based plot development and side missions, including personal missions for various characters, and I've partially implemented a new sound track, for a more darker, sci fi feel. I want this game to be kind of game that can be loved by both old Sonic fans and newer ones and will Do my best to make it as such. However, I am limited in ability and am just one man. I would greatly appreciate any help on this project and would love to hear what others think of it. Edit: I have a couple of screen shots to share, one of the current title screen and another of a battle, showcasing one of several added enemies.

    Fantasy Dating/Life Simulator game concept

    The story would have different story arcs for each different character, with each elligble character having a different personal story to be told. As things stand right Now, I have 8 or so elligble characters in the game and four different starting characters with different backgrounds, but whose personalities could be shaped by the actions of the player, meaning that there is a bit of a personal aspect to the story, as the hero essentially mirrors you. The whole personal story is molded by the player, by the job he takes, by the woman he romances, and the actions he takes when presented with various scenarios that come up every so often. Its a large scale adventure where you shape it by how you live.

    Well, I do like the rpg aspect, and could easily incorprate it into the story, but I would structure it in a similar style to Alchemy Meister. That game was an H-game that heavily focused on the romance and life sim element, but in order for the player to progress in their career, they needed materials gathered from various dangerous dungeons, which is where the tactic based rpg came into play. Originally, I planned on having a town with various houses that could be bought and lived in. And the main hero could have a certain number of people living in the house as well. It was going to be quite expansive because I wanted the villagers to have their own time based movements, like, at 6 am, this character leaves their house and goes to a set place, stays for a few hours, then goes somewhere else. I have the time system in the game, but I do not have a clue how to create such a movement script. I also wanted to have multiple types of currency, Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, so that there was a degree of how much certain jobs could make, and since one of the jobs I had in mind was a soldier, there's potential for a rpg element in that
  9. Hey all, Not my first forum post, but I figured I'd post here. My name is Korvas Terindar and I've been into RPG maker since the early Playstation version. I've never done much in the way of grand games, but I have however come up with a few good ideas, one of which has really stuck in my mind. I have the concept of a life/dating simulator involving many fantasy races, like elves, in a fictional town living a normal life. The Player takes on the role of one of four main characters and tries to make their way in this town, get a job, earning money, buying food, moving on up to better houses, and socializing with the towns inhabitants and ultimately falling in love. I have made a little progress with it, but scripting is my enemy as I'm not very good with it so progress has been slow. I really enjoy date/life sims and am hoping to create a nice game that pushes the boundry of what you typically see in such games. I would really enjoy making this game a reality, so let me know what you think, and if you think you can help, I'll gladly accept it.
