How to make Yanfly's script display more animations?

I'm stupid I should've known better. The post was updated.

    Looping common events?

Send where? To you? or do you mean something else?
  4. The title say's it all, how to activate a skill at the very beginning of battle? Also how do you make a skill repeat every turn after it is activated?

    Looping common events?

I tried what you said with the wait x frames but I can't get it to loop the sun animation smoothly it's sort of jumpy. is there another method?
  6. I have a skill that calls forth the sun on the battlefield. I want to get a battle animation to keep playing continuously over the battlefield. But it plays only once even if I set it to parallel process. If I add a flow control loop the game freezes as soon as the sun skill is activated. This should be easy but everything I do just doesn't work.
  7. I'm looking for a script that allows for completely different sprites for the actors and enemies other than the over world sprites so frequently used in most side view engines, no matter how big or small, and that allows for different animations for both sides and for different attacks, states and stuff like dead, idle and walking animations. I don't know if there exists a script like this that is simple enough to use, but hopefully I can find something.

    Show your Desktop!

I'm not even going to bother to show my desktop unless someone wants to see it. My desktop is Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon which FOR SOME REASON ISN'T A REAL CARD!! My desktop just ruins the image with the icons so I will just show my desktop image: I'm thinking about going away from complex backgrounds entirely, Because my icons just ruin the background image. But I want to keep all my icons and files on the desktop. I might just make a slideshow screensaver with my favorite images.

    State Dependent States?

Thats great for skills but it wouldn't solve the need for certain states that require other states in order to exist. Thanks for the code though I could use that for skills. Regardless I have found a script I need so this topic can be closed.

    Szyu's StateConditions

You could have it be optional. So maybe you only need state to be there at first. For example maybe someone has a rage state and then there is a rage level 2 state that requires the first to initiate, But it can live on without the first level.

What's your proudest video game achievement?

I can't say this is my MOST proud achievement but it still is a proud achievement of mine: Dishonored: playing the last mission in the game with the highest difficulty, playing as a character that does nothing but announce his presence and get into fights, while surrounded by guys in the center of the map in front of the lighthouse and use no health potions and dodge/block nearly every attack and kill everyone on the map.

    So Bad It's Good

I have had this happen with movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space, but video games not so much mainly because it takes more effort to play video games than it does for movies and television. playing terrible games can be just utter torture.

What are your unpopular videogame opinions?

Amnesia the Dark Descent could have been better, Let me explain. Don't get me wrong I love Amnesia but there are some massive problems I have with it. In no particular order: 1: The puzzles can be too tricky. I like puzzles but I feel amnesia should've had simpler ones because I once had a puzzle that had me running all over the place and after a while I felt more frustration than fear. 2: The enemies just disappear. If you avoid an enemy long enough it will just disappear after awhile. I feel it could have increased the tension if the enemies where a constant threat like the Kaernk in the water areas. 3: The shadow was underused. I feel like they could've had the shadow do more things, but instead throughout the entire game it just repeats the same things, like blocking pathways, putting red flesh all over the place, shaking the place and blowing lights out. 4: Lack of enemy variety. This is somewhat of a nitpick but I feel like they could have expanded the enemy variety past the 3 that are in the game given that in the game someone (I won't say who) is doing experiments on people and animals and bringing them to life. 5: The last 3rd of the game was lacking in scares. Number 1 and 4 come into this. At this point in the game I feel like the game just kept throwing the same scares over and over and was starting to feel repetitive at this point aside from the story and a few new elements put in there.
  14. I don't know why but I procrastinate less when I use RPG Maker. but with other programs like Game Maker I procrastinate more.

    State Dependent States?

I have solved m I have solved my problem with a script I found, but I'm curious what is this event conditional branch? I just want to know about it in the future just in case I want to use it.
