So I worked out a method of battling using just events. I'm trying to figure out how to destroy an enemy sprite on the map once the battle has ended. The problem is that battles take place inside common events, and I don't want to use a variable or switch for every enemy in the game. If you need any more info, I'm right here.

Evented Custom Battle System

I spent 4 or so hours working on a semi-clone of the default battle system. It's all commented and easy to understand.
I'd like some feedback on it.

It's not anything special, though I'm sure someone could use it for something.
