    Suikoden Ace

I love the Suikoden series so I'm interested in seeing what you do with this!
  2. Thanks for the feedback! I'm fixing the issues with the battles, others have complained about that too. In addition, the fix I'm using will expand the soldier's usefulness. His cover skill is used on him but he absorbs damage for other people. So even though he's technically the target, it doesn't actually work on him. In my tests this worked properly, but I'll look at it again to be sure. Let me know what else you think!
  3. A couple more bug fixes added to the newest download. Check it out!
  4. Sad day. Yeah I put that issue in the 'Known Issues' section. Maybe I should make it more prominent. It's a really simple fix, but I want to get some more stuff in there before I upload another version of the demo. Sorry about that...
  5. Cool. Thanks again for checking it out. New demo up with that bug fixed! I hope you can find time to check it out some more.
  6. Thanks for the response. Stun-locking is an intended strategy for the first boss. I've had people say he was too hard, but you're the first person that said they had someone die in that area so I think that means there's some variety. Weird about the script error though. I'll check it out.
  7. Introduction Lords of the Wasteland is an RPG with elements from a variety of styles. The world in which the story takes place, Mundi, is a world of many cultures and each area reflects that visually, by the actions of the residents, and by their interactions with other areas. My goal in creating this game was to explore the interactions of the characters and cultures more than to drive the plot forward. I have intentionally left out a lot of exposition and hand holding in order to create a more "in the moment" experience for the players. Ultimately, I want the entire game to reflect that from the visuals to the gameplay. I have also attempted to inject humor where I can (my sense of humor will become apparent rather quickly), and make this a game that knows what it is. I am aware that there exist some shortcomings and I hope to overcome those with the help of your critiques and my own hard work. So I would like feedback to be very honest, and as specific as is reasonable. Now, on to the nuts and bolts. Setting Characters Features Screenshots Future Updates/Known Issues Credits I hope you enjoy the game and please be specific and critical. I'm attached to this project and I want to see it grow. Without further ado, the demo!: Demo Download Version 1.02: Smaller file size Fixed bugs with followers (for real this time!) There are a few scenes where I've used the Pop Message system. I may go to this for the whole game. Not sure yet. I know there are issues in these scenes with faces fitting on the screen. Any other issues, please let me know. Version 1.01: Improved NPC followers so I didn't have to disable dash. Corsair town completely redone. Belly of the Beast map reduced in size and made less...tedious Other graphical fixes New checkables and such Minor bug fixes In the next update: Even more checkables Some condensing of a few maps Anything else pertinent that comes up from comments Maybe Pop Messages...
