Alt. Wish granted, everyone now has Tourette's syndrome. Honeybadger. I wish that oil prices were not at the mercy of a Saudi prince's whim.

I voted for boys as well. I need both genders in order to keep everything in the same style. Hairen could use a higher collar for his shirt. Boys tend to not show as much cleavage as the girls, but they do wear tight clothes sometimes.

@FranklinX Nice map, I especially like the snow drifts at the base of the walls. One question, where's the touques and mittens? -
The tavern looks much better now! I remember seeing tilesets that correct the spacing so that furniture is spaced properly on the grid. After a quick search.. Where are they? I know they are here somewhere!

Also, be careful with your shadows. It's partially done in some maps. Personally, I say to remove them all from the desert maps and from the interiors. Desert because it's sunny everywhere, and inside because the sun isn't there to cast light. You have potential to be a great mapper.

It sounds like a very good game. You don't have a villain, but you do have an antagonist (which is much better.) That antagonist is the MC's own mind/attitudes. I'd play that game, but I'm worried that you won't finish it on time. Just promise me you'll complete it, even if it doesn't make the contest.

How to Return to RMVX After a Long Absence
Brackev commented on kitten2021's blog entry in Returning to RMVX
Point #3, if you don't love doing a task - delegate it. Get a team together. Bounce ideas around. Often a better way of doing something will come up so you don't need to spend 6 hrs finding a resource. Maybe they know a "guy" or "gal". Good post. Next time: less apologising... -
mapping Vast, open world you can get lost in... litterally and figuratively
Brackev replied to JBYT_Joseph's topic in Theory and Development
I love big open world if it's 3d, but 2d I want linear. The more beautiful 3d worlds suck me in more and make travel more exciting than in 2d worlds. -
My side project is 95% done. I just need to do a little dressing up on it. It is very short monster trainer SIm. PM me if you want to help Beta test it.

Wish granted! You are a rock at the bottom of someone's fish tank. Algea grows on you then the slime suckers come and have their lunch. I wish I was part of the Duck Commander family.

so it's 2 tiles wide and 4 tiles high. The scale of it is too large to fit in with the default resources. you may need to scale it down to 16x32. As for more pixels: yes, it could use some more noise on it.

Bump. Is this request much bigger than I thought?

Importing RPGMaker 2003 project into VXAce?
Brackev replied to peteyb's topic in Editor Support and Discussion
There are no import settings available. You can copy over most of the graphics but the sprites in VXAce only have 3 frames per direction instead of 2k3's 4 frames. You may be able to save the old maps as a .png and bring them into the new project using parallaxing if you still have 2k3. -

@Darkanine They look good, but could use a little less river in them. Maybe a tile or two less. Consider adding different grasses or making one edge of an island have a sandy beach. Other than that, it just needs cities and dungeons. You should be able to make a game with just the ones you have done so far. The other islands may be too much...
