I speak English, German and learning Korean (help with that would rock!).

I started in the indie games industry about 4 years ago and am currently blazing away at an RMVXAce project to not only make a great game, but to teach many of my peers a lesson (I bet them I could make a better game in 3 months using this than they could with a new custom engine - I am sure I will win ;) I have no prior experience with RM, so I am cramming like you wouldn't believe!

I'm also a hobbiest body-builder, full-time philosophy student (restarting studies in March) and moving to Korea with my girlfriend in March.

If you're interested in any of the above hit me up :)

(Notice games aren't on there? It's because I think the glory days of gaming are over and the industry is in need of a renaissance ;)

    Proximity Events

Just have a suggestion: is it possible to make it so these can be based off the player as opposed to an event? I just want to use it with directional checking, so certain events will act differently when the player is facing them. EDIT: And maybe add a feature that allows events to detect each other? So if one event is in within range of another, it will give chase for example.

Ah okay, thanks! It works fine now.

    Proximity Events

Hey, I am just having an issue with "Proxy.inprox_d?(@event_id, [#])", it always comes up with an error: game interpreter line 450: type error occurred. Array can't be coerced into a Fixnnum. I tried it out a on a completely fresh project, no other scripts and get the same issue. All the other calls work perfectly though (this is one incredibly useful script by the way! Thanks a bunch for it!).
  4. Psh! These small scripts rock! I only use a few, but they don't have dangly extra bits I have to try to get rid of ^^
  5. Very useful, thank you

    CSCA Dungeon Tools

This is a really cool script. My suggestion is to have a way to disable the tool select button altogether, as I can do everything I need with just the arrow tool and don't want there to be a random button lying about that opens a pointless screen ^^ Nice work! EDIT: Just came across a bug. It only occurs on one of my maps and no others, not sure why. line: 479, no method error, undefined method 'size' for nil:class It triggers when I go to shoot an arrow.

    Remember Event Position

Thanks Shaz Definitely helpful for me.

    More Choices

Nope, seems in every instance I copied too much ^^ Thanks!

    More Choices

Hey, I'm just wondering how to implement multiple sets of extra choices? I tried copying the pizza topping one and pasting it directly underneath it, then changing the words, but it always just crashes.

    Advanced Item Selection v1.0

See, I'm a good newb! I was going to request this, but I thought no, I'll check the forums first ^^ I saw this before, but I hadn't come across the problem yet so wasn't sure what it did exactly. Thanks! EDIT: Also I realised it will be easy to let them select their item class too, so essentially you can have them choose 1 object from their entire inventory. This is very nice

    Volume Control

Found a bug where the game crashes if a BGS would play: 'Script Interpretor' line: 1010 Argument Error occurred Wrong number of arguments (4 for 3) I spent quite a while in panic mode after for some unknown reason my earlier maps would crash ^^
  12. Woo! This is one heck of a rocking script ^^ Thanks for all your hard work!

    G'Day all

G'day Shadow Fox! Hope you had a good 'glass a c**t' day yesterday ^^
  14. Awesome stuff! Can't wait to see it
  15. Thanks heaps for this! It's a lot easier to use than it looks like at first too ^^ I have one suggestion, not sure how hard it would be, but how about allowing skills to be unlocked with enough of a set? So 3 pieces gives you a skill that casts berserk on yourself and the full set lets you cast an attack pump for example.
