Eternal Destiny but not on steam

Bro, I was a dude that pre-ordered MV, I dont remember my key It should be in the preorder email. Or I think it's stored on the account somewhere. Try logging into http://rpgmakerweb.com And if you still can't get it, try asking at http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/support Found it, do I need to remove it from my computer? (to download the steam version)

Here's a sample project. It works just fine here. EDIT: OH MY GOD. So I'm supposed to make a new page for the first even that opens the menu! UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH. Now it works!

Theres another thing: vn_map. When? The script speaks nothing of it. I would seriously love to try this script but it almost looks likes its not complete. Please read what I said. It's a feature to be added. Ergo, it's not there. So the script doesnt work then? Because I tried testing it again and only the first event works (not with the script call but one for vn_npc)

I've found the problem. There was a typo for the 'Move' command on the script. Fixed that now and I've uploaded the fix for it. You've also pointed out one other potential problem, however. I'll need a little more time to figure out a fix for this: From the sound of it, you set up an event either on Autorun or Parallel Process that executes the script SceneManager.call(Scene_VNMenu) so the menu pops up as soon as the map loads. The problem with Autorun is it prioritizes itself above all other events, making it so other events we're trying to call can't do so because Autorun keeps on running itself. Parallel Process runs itself when no other events are running. This is fine in most cases, but if your running event uses 'Wait', the parallel process starts running itself, interrupting the currently running event. It sounds to me like I need to add in a behavior on the script that automatically calls the menu as soon as a map labelled as a VN map is loaded. I'll need to get back to everyone on that fix after I figure out a nice way to handle this. Theres another thing: vn_map. When? The script speaks nothing of it. I would seriously love to try this script but it almost looks likes its not complete.

Just tried your demo. I like it and all but only problem is the button choice seems off for some reason and I can't remove objects.

Cheers, man and thank you! It's not much but I'm glad the script helps. I'll be working on making it more presentable soon. Yes, that. Sorry, I think Teleport was the terminology used in older versions of RM and old habits die hard. The script just gets every event on the active map and sorts them according to how you tagged them but they all do the same thing, which is triggers the chosen event. You could add as many different actions you want or rename the ones already there to your liking, actually. I just set up the actions I felt were most likely to be needed for general purposes. I tried it out and it still doesn't work. Hell, I can only use the first even I created. The other 3 do nothing.

Thanks. Gonna try it tonight because right now, I like the script

The script is designed to activate events via the menu, meaning it runs whatever an event is supposed to do when you talk to one as you normally would. Naturally, the event has to be made to do something for anything to happen. Oh, so add a "Transfer Player" event

Odd. I just tested it now and it works just fine. Were you perhaps trying to call the same event that had your call menu command? If you can show me what your event looks like, I can probably figure out what the problem is. Update: Added the Move command based on the same behaviors as the previous commands. Again, there are definitely better fast travel menu options out there, but for people who don't want to bother, here we are. So how the heck do we get Move to work? I made an event with Move and nothing happens. I technically cant accept itI left instructions on the first post and the updated script's instructions: Create an event, add the comment vn_area, and after that place a teleport command to take you to an area. I tested these all on a blank project before pushing and it works juat fine. Did you place anyhing inside of your events? Because i sounds like you didn't which is why the autorunning event that calls the menu seems to just bring up the menu every time. Again, this would be much easier if you show me a screen shot of the event you're trying to use. I make the event and put vn_area in it, the instructions don't talk about teleporting o.O

CardGame inspired skill and battle system

Hi, I'm probably just an idiot but I can't seem to create a physical card. I'm trying to create slash but it crashes the game when I try to use it. Notetags: <card id: 2> <card type: 1> <card rarity: 1> <card cost: 2> <card impact: Draw>

    Card Game Battle System

Ok, now that I have played the demo, I can state my opinion: The battle system is a neat idea but I would never devote an entire game to it.

    Card Game Battle System

Ok you're right, instructions aren't clear enough. When I get a bit of time I'll upload a demo and I'll redact the instructions better. Also, have you tried setting: DECK_0 = [] Just to make sure whether the problem comes from there or not. It might because I was able to get into battle but once I let the enemy have a turn, it closed

    Card Game Battle System

Think you could make a demo? It'd be much easier to people I also got the same thing again. Your script doesn't explain clearly how to make cards or decks or whatever.
