Story/Setting
It is the early 19th century, a time of turbulence and bloodshed for the ancient lands of Central Asia. Long forgotten are the massive empires of Genghis Khan and Timur. The land is now divided between small khanates, struggling for their own survival. Hemmed in by the great British Empire to the south, and wary of the creeping growth of Russia to the north, the khanates seem destined to be swept away by the waves of modernity.
It is against this backdrop that the vicious Nasrullah, Khan of Bokhara, rises up. He uses the intrusions of the Europeans as an excuse to wage wars against neighboring nations, claiming that he wishes to unite all of Central Asia against the foreign invaders. In reality, Nasrullah fights only to satisfy his own lust for power and glory. His army marching northward, he murders the Khan of Kokand and seeks to add that entire territory to his own.
But Nasrullah's arrogance will betray him. His oppressed subjects boil with rage, waiting for an opportunity to overthrow the tyrant. The Europeans scheme against him, angry at the Khan for his treachery against them. And now, a young officer from Kokand sets his heart on spilling Nasrullah's blood with his own hands. Seeking vengeance for his fallen Khan, this lone soldier stands against Nasrullah and all his might.
