  1. So I've been scouring the web looking for a good program to begin creating an Alundra Clone and or Sequel (because Alundra 2 was a shame....) and I think that RPG Maker is my best bet. However I figured I would poll the current users to see if RPG Maker was capable of doing what I wanted. For those of you unfamiliar with Alundra, here is the intro Video - It is considered a 'Zelda Clone' with jumping puzzles (more or less). Now I know the default battle system is more of the turn-based Final Fantasy / JRPG style, however looking around it seems that it is easy enough to implement different battles systems (I found this one which seems to fit my needs to an extent http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/8809-falcao-pearl-abs-liquid-update-v2/ ). I've also found that I can implement voice acting (http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/19387-using-voice-acting-in-rpg-maker-vx-ace/) I was trying to find cinematic, and I could see you could make some, but if I wanted to do some animated ones, are they easily implemented? Also, from what I've seen and read, you can only seem to go between single squares. I'm looking for more free movement. Does that make sense? It seems possible enough, I've made simple c++ games so I could probably find a way to add that. Anyhow, was hoping to get the opinion of those who have already used the program. Thanks!!! Bulloko
