Just declined the renewal of the contract of the job(because I foresee that the situation will probably go from very nice to really tough soon) and ended the current one several days ago, all after working there for 2 years, and I hope that it means I'll have enough time and motivation to work on RMMZ again

After waiting for several months to observe the results of vaccines, I finally decided to go for Comirnaty, because now my job needs me to either be vaccinated or take a regular testing every 2 weeks(240 HKD per test), and it seems to me that Comirnaty is safe enough in my case

Just read some of my game codes written by myself 4 years ago, and now I don't understand them at all lol
-
Just made 3 easy, simple and small MZ plugins today(12 hours straight), and I never thought I could ever do this.
Now I feel myself being very productive, even though I know I'm just utterly flattering myself lol-

@DoubleX that's no accomplishment to scoff at! I remember making my first few plugins, I was on top of the world! Keep learning and practicing, and you'll stay feeling that way! Keep pushing the envelope and making more cool things ^^

This game seems to be very promising:

Very few games can make me cry, and this is one of them:

Lots of games could make me cry if I let them. It doesn't need fancy graphics or anything... Heck I think one of the best game endings is in Minecraft. Or maybe I am just a sucker for that kind of philosophical psychedelic paratextual poetry. Yeah it's probably pretty pandering, but it pleases my palate. :3

When I finally got to the ending of Guitar Hero: Smash Hits/Greatest Hits, definitely had those feels. Oh, and yeah; YYZ on Expert Bass was really F*CKING HARD to pass. That was the final encore song to play. I definitely relied entirely on Star Power to get me through.
Final Encore Songs in GHSH:
Guitar: Extreme-Play With Me (GH80's)
Bass: Rush-YYZ (GHII) (X+)
Vocals: Queen-Killer Queen (GH)
Drums: SLAYER-Raining Blood (GHIII) (X+)
Band: Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot (GHII) (X+)
Here: let me show you the ending, since I'm probably the only rhythm gamer here #LMAO:
(it's all cutscenes but it's likely the last one-they're all short)

Just found this:
https://www.autohotkey.com/
I wonder if any programmer will be interested to that :) -
I just have an idea on combining DDR played with keyboard, and typing speed exercise.
Basically, you need to type a document in English, but each character's typed with the timing in sync with the music used.
Maybe with the aid of fast paced music, one's typing speed can reach unprecedented levels :)
I'm gonna make a proof of concept when I've tons of free time :D-
That sounds like it would be crazy difficult (unless maybe if the player is allowed to skip beats between words). I donno about anyone else, but I rarely if ever hear anyone type with any kind of steady rythem. It just seems to take longer to do the mental rejiggering between words then it does to type any given word.
Also, while we are on the subject of speed typing, is it just me or is speed typing is a sort of overrated skill? Unless you are taking direct dictation I guess. In my experience all but the slowest of typists can type fast enough that they are going to run out of things to type long before they are done processing what they should type next. Maybe it's just me, but whenever I reply to something I often find myself staring at the screen for minutes without typing a word because I am too busy thinking about what exactly I am saying. Even if I am just reading something and typing it down word for word I keep having to look back and forth anyway and my memory is much slower then my typing speed. And I don't even home row, just pick! I think I am pretty fast for a picker though.

@PhoenixSoulI've checked that game and I don't think that's what I'm thinking, and I think I've to make that proof of concept to really elaborate my idea :)

It seems to me that I'm too lazy to make new MZ plugins with my full time job, so I'm porting my easy, simple and small MV plugins instead.
I hope I can port 1-2 such plugins per day, but this will be hard for me -
I just like this website:
https://downloadmoreram.com/
lol -
Before the full time job, I can make 1 MZ plugin per day, even though it's still hard; With the full time job, making 1 such plugin per week becomes just as hard lol
-
Just watching an hour of some LP of CoD MW(2019), and I'm already liking that game, sadly my PC won't be able to play it
-
Just uploaded a RMMV plugin video in youtube, and realized that RPG Maker MV is no longer in the list of game names there lol
-
As I've written several easy, simple and small RMMZ plugins, I feel that I'm familiar with RMMZ plugin development. With the fact that I'm going to report duty for my full time job from tomorrow, I think I've to go back to finish my RMMV plugins, and I'd expect that to last several weeks or even months

What have you done?! You fool! By leaving a positive review you are just encouraging complacency! Don't you see? Without negative reviews to get them to improve, why would they make it any better!
Also: You can have a neutral review. All you have to do is not make a review at all! What's that? It's not the same because you can still write something? Silly, no one important actually ever reads reviews, they just pay attention to the score.

Tried to use ES6 Map to store some battler properties, and while it's nice by accepting anything as key(and MDN claims that ES6 Map's faster as well), those properties are all gone upon load, due to Map not being serializable upon save. Now I just feel dumb on one hand, and hope that I'll be the only stupid noob making this beginner mistake on the other

Just accepted a full time job offer after being jobless for so long
But it'd also mean I won't have much time to work with MV or MZ -
Just checked the reactions to MZ on Steam and it seems to me that it's mixed in both reviews(right now 98 reviews with 63% being positive) and discussions.
On the other hand, MV got about 80% positive reviews upon launch(108 positive and 27 negative), and now MV is rated as very positive(91% positive with 3515 reviews), so it seems to me that it'd be hard for MZ to be ever rated as overwhelming positive -
Just checked the VisuStella MZ plugins again and there are already 22(or 23) or them, as if MZ's already released(so I don't know how they can be this effective/efficient). It seems to me that those guys are really burning their lives to let us use tons of plugins one day 1
-
I've just checked the VisuStella Plugins for MZ and there are already 11 plugins. The Yanfly team(perhaps a big one?) really works so effectively and efficiently that some MZ users can likely use tons of Yanfly plugins right after MZ's released (still 13 days from now). I wonder if any other plugin developer(or team) will try to compete with Yanfly this time, no matter how slim the chance to win is
-
I'm slightly disappointed that the MZ codebase still uses core.js, managers.js, objects.js, scenes.js, sprites.js and windows.js instead of core/Bitmap.js, core/Graphics.js, managers/AudioManager.js, managers/DataManager.js, etc...

There's a confirmed case of Covid-19 who lives in the same building as mine, but fortunately I've been staying at home all the time for more than a week already, even though I might be ordered to enter a quarantine center any time soon...

Just tried to access my pastebin, then cloudflare said the pastebin website has been flagged as phishing, so I guess many of my plugin download links are broken...

Sometimes pages just get flagged for things temporarily while something is under investigation. Sometimes it's a mistake sure, but sometimes it's because of things like an external ad injecting a script somewhere and/or the site being hacked. That kind of thing can happen and otherwise safe sites can unknowingly be used that way.
