@EraYachi: Certainly good! The diction is crisp and clear, and the line is delivered well. Share more with us! =D Anywho, here is another one I recently pushed out. I was able to fully mix and master it...something I've longed to do more with previous pieces. But I had more time and the know-how needed to do it this time around, sooo....great! Enjoy~! Not sure if this one is serious, trying to belittle my intellect, or just plain being obvious about obvious matters...that I -clearly- must not have thought about before (sarcasm).

Finale Notepad: Powerful notation software that will, essentially, get your ideas onto actual sheet music that you can print out. The samples that come with it aren't the best, but I find it can be more useful than a DAW at times. Pricing: FREE! --If you'd like to get the actual Finale notation software, it can be pretty pricey, but this is an excellent piece of software for beginning on the music notation train~! Kontakt 5 Kontakt 5 is a VST that is, for the most part, extremely powerful in its versatility. It offers several articulations for a wide variety of instruments and styles, ranging from orchestral to band to full-blown choirs. One of the biggest issues I have with it is its... Pricing: $399. I personally snagged it while it was on discount...a huge one, at that. Do I feel it's worth the full $399? No, not really. Even if it were to go on discounted price again now, there are certainly better offers you could likely snag up from other products on their website that offer more instruments. Still, though, it's great to use in music production for RPGs and the likeness of~!

Ah! A music-posting thread! Wonderful! "The Royal Queen" was my favorite one of the tracks on the playlist. It could very well be that I'm a huge sucker for waltzes, but I was quite fond of its combination of strings, woodwinds, and the piano. The strings did, at certain points, feel as though they were overpowering the rest of the instruments, though. This was prevalent to me at around 9:50-ish to 10:12. Otherwise, though, great! I agree with Cicillia in regards to "The King Has Arrived." I felt it sounded....for lack of a better word, empty...? I don't mean to come off as offensive when I say this, but I don't know...I suppose I expected a more regal kind of feeling to it? The harpsichord works well, as it should in the face of other instruments, but its accompaniment in that piece didn't do much overall for it. Again, I don't mean to come off as a jerk...forgive me if it seems that way! *meep* D: I suppose I'll continue, though, with something I posted up not long ago. The motif for this tune was brainstormed in like...2011? 2012? Can't remember, but it started out as a project in Finale, and, due to the program's habit of constantly crashing on me, was completed in FL Studio. A real shame, too, as I'm quite fond of the piano sound of the Garritan instruments in Finale. Ah well. Oh, and I didn't fully master this one. Need to work on it more to get the piano sounding more realistic... D: In any case, I hope you all enjoy this one. I need to get more active in making new stuff...or actually FINISHING old stuff! Howdy! Total nublet on these forums, but I remember way back in high school, the chorus room or the band room used to be the place TO BE if you were a musician. I don't imagine "The Chrous Room," or, "The Band Room," or even, "The Chorus/Band Room" being any good. But how about, " The Music Lounge?"

I said it before, and I'll say it again: I support this thread and its maker's continuing work and growth. Great job! =D

Howdy! Welcome to these forums...! ...though I suppose I'm not really one to welcome you, seeing as how I, too, am new. But thanks for telling me about these forums, and best of luck here! =D

Hello, everyone! I am Clydous (not really my name), and I am somewhat new to RPG Maker! "How new?" you ask? Well, I had been eying the program for quite some time, and during the Steam Winter Sale, I purchased RPG Maker VX Ace at an unbelievably low price! So I've had it installed since Christmas Day, and, up to date, I have spent over 100 hours with it, fiddling around, figuring things out, and looking up tutorials on youtube like a fiend. I initially joined up on the official RPG Maker forums, was directed here by a friend I made there, and well...here I am. Huzzah! I have big plans for big games (or at least one), and I'm excited to be here! Once again, hello, everyone! =D A little about Clydous: -A writer -A musician -A performer -A staff member for an online game -An actor of sorts (voice acting included)
