So, in my current project you get to decide your characters gender at the beginning and close to the start you also decide your class. My problem is that I have made classes for the other party members you come across in your journey and now have almost nothing new and exciting for the main character to choose unless I decide to give him/her the same choices that will already exist with the possible party members. Any fresh takes on classes you guys have or anything that could help me along would be very much appreciated.

Teivel here, I hail from Australia! I like to say I am a writer, whether it be my own novels, character profiles or just random information in between. I'm not too proficient in many RPG Maker skills, but I do enjoy parallax mapping, and most eventing although I am not too great at the latter. I found RPG Maker randomly while scrolling through stuff on steam one day and it seemed interesting, I have always enjoyed playing all kinds of video games and making one has always been a dream of mine. Now it is a passion. I played through all the final fantasies while i was younger and I really enjoyed the 2D adventure aspect of it, I plan on making a project that rivals the depth of the original games like them. Now, I am currently working on a project with RPG Maker VX Ace, it isn't in the forums because I am keeping it hush hush until I am further in development. I honestly feel like my maps suck compared to plenty I have seen. So thank you guys! Here are two new maps as well, although I haven't made my old ones too much smaller they are still more compact. Edit: @Takeo Thanks, I didn't think I was doing too good of a job for my first time, I guess people starting with this aren't quite as good at making maps?

@sooky Thank you, I was thinking there may have been something wrong, I shall try and downsize them. Except for the one with the stream, because this map has a few events that take place here and require the size. Edit: I made each of those maps between one and four tiles shorter on both width and length. Thank you, they look much better.

@KermexRPG - I think it has a nice feel to it, nothing really out of place. Good job! Also, I am not sure if you are allowed to post more than one screen shot at a time. But these are my first ever finished maps with RPG Maker, please let me know what you think. Edit: I forgot to mention, these are without any shadow or tint.

You probably need to put a few hundred hours worth of coding, testing, and learning, I am sorry but you would be better off saving your money on paying someone else to make this system for you or even asking a scripter kindly enough.

The main reason behind that is either because RPG Maker doesn't support that font, or your font doesn't support certain unicode. There are font fixes and things for that, not quite sure how to find them anymore though, you may have to use another font.

I am guessing you couldn't find it?

I tried, it wasn't very successful, can someone else try and help? Ah okay. It seems that RPG Maker has a problem with displaying certain unicode when a new font is enabled for your project. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this now that I have found my problem?
