3-4 years without getting into this place. The name of it even changed! Oh, I feel so old. So, hello to everyone here! Glad the forum has been updated (previously InvariableZ here, though I doubt anyone knows me)
-
Welcome back.
Well, since your departure, it's become a lot more desolate, so, there's that, I suppose.
Not much else has changed otherwise, not including aforementioned changes.
-
Desolation is indeed something I've noticed, sadly. Well, guess that's just how things are. Thanks for the welcoming though

Faye V. started following Heartland | IGMC 2018 Entry
-
Download through Itch.io by clicking this link! Synopsis "You walked unspeakable distances, until you found this peculiar forest. A glade immersed you in peace. As you kept walking, you found a place full of life—Heartland. Everything here gives you the peace you have been craving for. Yet you keep trying opening your eyes. You do not remember anything about yourself. If you do open them, you will get to see the truth. And sometimes, the pitch-black darkness is a better place to stay in." The Game Heartland is a narrative-based, story-rich, psychological-esque, linear RPG with a different take on battles. The gameplay is rather straight-forward, being based solely on the completion of the story. Though to make it to the end, you'll first have to face off familiar faces from your past through one-in-one, strategical, meaningful and decisive battles. All the events of the game and your actions are narrated in a second person point of view by a narrator. Through him, you will get to know the mistery amongst Heartland—and you yourself. The game heavily focuses on atmosphere to engage the player into the narrative, relying upon a plethora of nature sounds, beautiful scenarios and excellent background music which will take you in a singular journey to the discovering of the very truth. Battles have a peculiar twist, in which classic commands such as "attack", "guard" and even "items" are completely removed. Instead, you will get to choose between physical (Swordplay) and magic (Sorceries) techniques, as well as the Remnants bequeathed from your enemies, as you defeat them. Each opponent is a boss-like fight, and you will have to find the best skill composition to a strategy in order to defeat your foes. Heartland features no gameover, but the game won't advance until you win. Showcase (Click thumbnails to enlarge!) Author Notes Patch 1.01a As of 29/11/2018, the patch 1.01a was released in order to fix the obnoxious collision bugs that the game had,\. as well as other minor issues. With this patch, the game now promises to be fully playable without breaking immersion. The patch is allocated in the Itch.io page, so don't forget to grab it from there because it's vital!

rpgmakermv D'Art MV Resources (Latest Upload [Feb 10,2016]: Parallax Big Trees)
Faye V. replied to Dainiri.Art's topic in MV
I expected someone will ask where are actor1-1 and 1-8, I did not make one for them because Lunarea has emoset for them both already included in the Essential Add-On. I just thought it would be rude to create one if there is already one out there. Yes, you're right. In fact, I do own essentials set, but didn't pay attention to the facesets folder. Lol, silly me. Anyways, thanks for these emo sets =) -

I'll test it right now, Kurashi. Thanks for the quick answer Edit: it deals no damage o.o Yes, testing in a blank project. -
How to make the most of custom formulae. Part #1
Faye V. replied to Fomar0153's topic in Developing Tools
This is a great thread. I come here in search of help, i think it's quite simple my request but i just don't know how to do it xD All i want to do is the damage be a variable. Wait, not an actual variable, i mean... a random BETWEEN two values. For example: 2-15 (the skill will damage a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12, or whatever number is between those two min and max values) what is the command i have to put in order to do that in the custom formula box? Thanks in advance. -
My first maps in rpgmaker! Give me your opinion please * - *
Faye V. replied to yuumimi's topic in Screenshots and Mapping
Definitively a good start. Taking into account that you only have 3 weeks, you're far above from average. Yet you still have errors xD I will not speak about shadows projection (the direction in which the shadows are projected) Because that is a way too complex stuff that i don't even understand. However, i do can say that your shadows are sometimes too exaggerated. Caves and interior maps are perfectly fine to be dark as hell, but the second map... it's projecting a huge, black shadow... it's enormous. You have to remember that these are games, not real life, that means that sometimes you gotta adjust things to look good to the eyes rather than 'realistic' Speaking about that map, it looks pretty messy. I mean, effects and so on are cool but i see lots of clutter around, distributed in a random way. Looks noisy. Btw, i recommend you to make the light that come from torches have an orange color instead of white. Good work. -
(Beforehand, excuse my english. I hope you understand me) Hey, i've looked to all of your scripts, and i can say you're awesome, and so are your scripts. God, i sooo would buy Effectus if i had dollars... anyways: i see a problem with this script. At first i thought the scritps i had in my project caused the problem, but then i tested it in a blank project and it still have errors. See, when you are in battle and a character has more than the default 4 commands (Attack, skill, guard, item) for whatever reason (the actor has two types of skill for example. Let's say technique and magic) it occurs... this: Aaand, as a bonus, when you're selecting Fight or Escape commands, this happens: Other than that, it works perfectly so far. I really love the effect and the smoothness. Looks quite professional. Thanks for sharing this.

Hahaha, this is so great. I will be using this since YEA's enemies hp bar script doesn't have an option for bosses, it's the same for every enemy Fun fact: the first boss in my game is called Izu xD i had no idea that someone was called like that lol Like for you!

I could add an option to disable it from the battle scene, if you are asking for that. Deadly Sins: 2. If you liked Skyborn, you will probably love this. At topic: Can you use this script with Yanflys Battle System, or won't it show the threat gauges? I doubt it will show the gauges, but it is something I am willing to "patch" if someone requests it. Well, i'm pretty sure everyone would want to use it with Yanfly. I mean, almost everyone uses Yanfly BS. Your script would have more people using it I really encourage you to expand this script, because it's gold man, gold. Edit: I'll take a look at Deadly Sins

Wohooooo! When i played Skyborn i loved the threat system, i don't really know if there is another game with it but in my opinion was very original even if another game used it, it's nothing you see in every game (like MP ._.) but that game was made in VX. And then you make it for Ace So much of a nice script man, i'll bookmark this. Salut!
