  3. DEMON HUNTER SYNOPSIS and STORYLINE Demon Hunter is an old-school Turn-Based styled RPG game mixed with "monster capture" elements similar to games like Pokemon and Persona. The game features a simple, yet effective alchemy/crafting system with 50 different recipes to learn and master. The game also features a weapon/armor randomizer, where each drop can roll randomized stats, ranging from very common items to super rare legendary items with boosted stats. The game features 65 capturable demons. Demon Hunter's story revolves around a young boy by the name of Alex, who is chosen by the Holy Order, the Demon Hunters to partake in the Demon Hunter Trials, where youth from around the world are sent on a journey to defeat the evil entities known as "Legion". Alex soon finds out that there is much more to his mission than just destroying demons and saving towns...will he succeed in liberating the world of the Legion, or will he fall like so many before him...?   4. Just wanted to chime in and say that I am sorry that I have gone MIA for quite a while, work and school have gotten pretty nuts, and I haven't had much time to work on the game. As soon as I have some free time I will post some updates of my current progress. Game is looking to be about 85% complete, just wrapping up the last couple of dungeons before final beta-release. Thanks!

  8. I've never actually finished a game before...and I'm at the point where I'm just about wrapping up the final map(s) and story-line before releasing for "bug/beta-testing" but I still feel like it's incomplete...#eeeep

    Yanfly Victory Aftermath party quotes?

    Those little dialogues between my characters was one of my favorite aspects of the "Tales of ____" games. Having the player press "enter" a few times to skip it isn't a huge deal either. This sounds like something I would totally enjoy myself.

      Wouldn`t mind too much =P I will just overlevel myself ha! Lv 60 vs Legion Fragment should be doable in a month... your choice =P But it will take quit some time.... =P

  15. Thanks to some wonderful feedback, I've implemented some "quality of life" updates and changes. Example(s) of some of the changes: ​Success chance when gathering increased by about 10% across the board. Gathering now takes 1.5 seconds instead of 3 seconds. Greatly reduced the amount of enemies in the Elkin Tunnels AND also made it that enemies de-spawn if you do run away so that you don't accidentally run right back into them. Also made the pathways in the tunnels much wider to give the player space to run away from the enemies in the 1st place if they choose not to fight as much. Fixed some facesets Revamped pretty much every map that used RTP with nicer tilesets. Increased Demon Snare success chance by about 5% at lower levels as well. UPDATE: Due to a handful of reports about the game becoming laggy, I made the decision to scrap the "Achievement Script" which ended up being the culprit... If you do not wish to start over in your play through,I advise against downloading any new demos from here on out, for it will most likely cause issues with your save file since the script was taken out. That being said, the most recent demo is now updated and ready for testplay/bug testing: Updates include, but are not limited to: 90% completed Hyrupe Village. (Mapping and main story line are completed, a few buildings and mini-quests have yet to be implemented) Brand new "story-line dungeon" to navigate with "timed button sequence" puzzles to solve and new enemies. Legion Boss #5! Large amounts of story revealed! Minor grammar fixes. All previous achievement prizes have been distributed to the mini-quests as rewards instead. Some sound effects have had their volume reduced so that they are not so jarring. And more! * Newest Updates (July 14, 2014) * So just a couple of things I've fixed in the mostly uploaded demo: Increased experience gained from many of the crafting recipes, and lowered the levels required to make some of the items as well. Fixed tile passability bugs I encountered in recent test play(s). Fixed a few grammar mistakes encountered in recent test play(s). In Blison Town, after speaking with the Guard Captain, the barricade blocking your path into Blison Forest is supposed to disappear, but I forgot to add the 2nd page event which makes them go away, so this has been fixed. Added a new mini cut-scene after the 2nd Legion encounter in Accu City. Did some minor enemy balancing (reduced defense of all enemies by about 10% across the board). Fixed prices on a few crafting recipes. * Newest Updates (July 16, 2014) * Fixed an issue in the Hyrupe Dungeon where you could not access to the final puzzle before the boss (transfer event error on my part), which has now been fixed. Two new mini-quests have been added to Kader Town, and one to Blison Town. A special reward has been added to the story-line quest in Blison Town, which can be earned depending on how many people you save (aka, don't murder) while in Blison Forest. A few minor changes have been made to dialogue, including more grammar corrections. Legion boss #4 and #5 have been slightly buffed, as they were reportedly a bit too easy. New demo is up and ready, those who wish to play through Hyrupe and on will need to download the new demo!
