-Dawn- Hello! I'm a begginer on RPG Maker, and this is my first project. For this game, i decided to make a Cyberpunk Dystopia set in 1939, mixing cyberpunk ideas with some of the culture in the period. It's still pretty crude at the moment, but i have a demo to release and i would apreciate the feedback -Story- "1939, a cold night, sure, but then she came, now God only knows if i will ever see the dawn." The story is set in 1939, in a world where the Dark Age never happened and science never stoped evolving, resulting in a dystopian cyberpunk world where peace is given through total control. The story is about an unknow investigator that is hired by a mysterious woman to find someone, but as always, there is something deeper than it looks, and the job can only get worse by the minute. -Characters- ... An unknow investigator, not much is know about him or his past. Catherine A mysterious woman, she doesn't seem to be very familiar with the City. Hired the investigator to find someone. Why?Only she knows... -Credits- Scripts: Bullpup Shooting Engine 1.8 - AndreMaker Single Character Menu 1.2 - DarkPaladin Sound Emitting Events - Lemony Vehicle On Off Locations - Galv Awesome Light Effects - Khas Followers Control - TDS Text Sound Effect v2 - Zerbu Yanfly Message System - Yanfly Futuristic Resource Pack - Enterbrain Graphics: MatsuoKiato for the Robot, Computers and Door Sprites Avadan for the Mecha Sprite Antares for random NPC's sprites Sound & Music: Bensound - http://www.bensound.com FreeStock Music - http://www.freestockmusic.com FreeSFX - http://www.freesfx.co.uk -Screenshots- -Features- *Focus on point 'n click style puzzles *Action sequences *Shooting Engine provides arcade-like action *Enviroments full of detail -Download- v1: http://www.4shared.com/file/mKquiMDzce/Cyberpunk__1_.html? If you play the demo, please give me feedback, like how long it took to finish, bugs, issues, tips for improvement, etc... -Known Issues-: No known issues at the moment, will update when i have some feedback. This is one of my first posts, so if i did something wrong, tell me -
Hmm, i might look into that lag issue, it runs fine for me, but i will try to fix that. Also, the thing about taking 1 second to change the lights is from the lighting script i'm using (Khas Awesome Light Effects), you have to use a script command to change the lights and you have to set the amount of frames it will take to change, and the minimum is 1 frame, setting it to 0 means it won't change at all.I'm trying to put a fadeout effect during the change and then a fadein so you won't notice the change. Thanks for the feedback, and who knows?Maybe i can make a spanish version with your help EDIT: I have done some testing, i made the fadeout/fadein for the light transition work, about the lag, it seems like its the lighting engine that is doing that when you move around fast and the game screen refreshes, so it causes a small slowdown and then returns to a normal framerate.

Yes, it is the resource DLC plus some other resources made by the community (like the robots, the huge Mech and the modern NPC's). Also, when i meant moving cars i wasn't talking about those ground vehicles. There is some flying cars that move around from time to time and produce a "highspeed passby" sound, i also put a "female-robot voice-over" that speaks some information about the city ("Avoid sector 3, there is a block in the road, the Council works for YOU!" and that kind of stuff). And the idea of getting run over by cars is kinda dark... As i said, i would like to post the compressed game so you could play, but its about 130mb (looks like 95% of that is music O_O, maybe changing the format would help?I will look into that). Thanks for the feedback! EDIT: Yay!I changed the format of the audio files to mp3 and now its like 40mb.Here is the link for the download so you can see the map in action. http://www.4shared.com/file/HY-6VFzZce/Cyberpunk.html?

Hello! So, i started making some maps for my first project in RPG Maker, and if there is something i learned about game design is that the earlier you get feedback, the better. At the moment there is only 2 maps done, i tried to put as much detail as i could with the resources i have (i'm using some RTP stuff, yes, i can't draw pixel art stuff). I want to know if the maps look interesting, empty, overcrowded with detail and NPCs... I will post some images, from the editor and in-game so you can see the effects, but of course you won't be able to see the moving cars and the sound effects i added (for some reason the compressed game installer is 130mb). Any tips and critiques are welcome. This is my first post here, so please tell me if i did something wrong
