Very nice chara and faces, indeed!

Thank to you for this kind feedback, Kaust. The reference to Cervantes wasn't on purpose, but I like the sound of it! In fact, the knight Eviradnus is a character from the Legend of Ages, by Victor Hugo. He is really old but still an errand knight (and a really good one). So in my mind, Eviradnus carried out his duty until he died, and as he was really good at what it did, he died of oldness, and not by the hand of an enemy. (You may think about Cohen the Barabarian, here. ) Now, there's the obvious lifespan issue: horses don't usually outlive their owners, especially war horses like destriers. This is why the main character is the last destrier of Eviradnus. He had many horses before this one, among which a lot died on the field of battle. I plan to give four sidekick to this main character, and this is what the destrier will tell to the first of them when he's asked about his name: "Old Eviradnus didn't gave me a name. A real knight doesn't name his mount to not be attached to it, when it dies. - ... - You know, he was the best master I ever had. He was good to me. Good to anyone. Only the scoundrels feared him. I loved him." Besides, I don't think the destrier would ever let the son ride him if he killed his father. Does that sound more logical to you?

Nice idea! My answer could be seen as a joke, but it is not. Name: the destrier Face (made by Ruruga): obviously, the second of the second line: Sprite (by Jessie Nielsen) the first of the first line: Weapon choice: Horseshoe Character type: Moralizing knight wannabe RPG Class: destrier Special abilities and traits: I must still think about a special ability. Small bio: The main character used to be the last war horse of a famous and rightous knight, Eviradnus. When he passed on of oldness, the son of the knight inherited the horse. But the son isn't as brave or virtuous as his father was. He mostly use his horse, his armor and his family man to brag and get privileges. On the beginning of the game, the horse manage to steal his new master armor, put it on a scarcrow fastened on his saddle. Now, he want to be the knight his new master should be, taking Eviradnus as his model.

Is it possible to detect the outcome of a fight in order to display corpses?
Not Quite Dead replied to Not Quite Dead's topic in Editor Support and Discussion
@ Tsarmina: sorry. I edited my first post to give it two tags (fight and variable). I hope they're the most appropriate. @ Pou-chan: Thanks for your answer. I didn't notice the check box 'continue even when losed' before you mentionned it. Now that I have seen that I can have three options (if the PC wins, if the PC loses, if the PC flees) I should be able to get the effect I want. I'll have a try and let you know. I'm sorry if I didn't manage to expose clearly what I want to do. Maybe a screenshot will make more sense than a long and confuse explanation: What I want to do is to have NPCs wandering on the map that trigger a fight when the player touches them (here, the cow circled with blue). And once the fight is over, I want the dead NPCs displayed on the map (as the cow circled with red). This can be done regardless of the number of actual opponents during the fight, i.e. even a fight with three enemies will result with one corpse. Now the tricky part is to avoid the corpses to wander as the living NPC do, but I've spotted there's something called 'pages' in the event window. I guess that I could have the page of the living NPC sets to 'random move' and the page of the dead NPC sets to 'no move'. I'll still have to study the way the pages interact (is there a priority in their conditions, that kind of thing), but I guess I'll find a tutorial on that topic somewhere in this forum. Once again, thanks for your answer: it has been very helpful. -
Hello! Firstly, I wish to thank grandmadeb for her Granny's Lists. They're really useful for people looking for ressources. I still have a question regarding Fayforest animal Faces. Does anyone know if it is okay to colorize them (crediting him/her for the original work, of course!)? S/he doesn't seem to be a member of this board, so I don't know how to contact him/her. Thanks for reading! NQD
