After many successful missions for the United Federation of Planets, Grain has taken off his wings hoping to transition into a peaceful desk job in a far off sector of the gamma quadrant. After weeks of decrypting and analyzing incoming transmissions He starts to compile disrupted and scrambled distress calls from all over the quadrant. After many failed attempts to reach the federation, Grain realizes something has gone wrong. With the rank of Admiral and no one to answer to Grain decides to investigate the quadrant while continuing to transmit his telemetry to an all but responsive Federation Headquarters. In regards to my post about actor graphic not staying changed after equipping a weapon, I was able to figure this out. It was a script incompatibility with the "Change Graphic by Equipment by: Jeneeus Guruman" script. Feel stupid by hey i figured it out. yay. Thanks dudes for sparking my curiosity. Dymdez if your having a similar issue maybe your using the same Change Graphic by Equipment? I have a game breaker problem that has killed my passion to work more on my project. I know this could potentially be a simple fix but my understanding of ruby code is not good enough to pin point the problem. In my game I don't want to force players to use a character sprite they don't want to. By default the character is a blue astronaut. As you explore new worlds and areas there are options to change your player sprite. For my test you turn into a ninja when you say yes. The problem I am having is that everytime I press "N" to bring up the quick equip window then equip a weapon my character graphic reverts to the default blue spacesuit. This does not happen when equipping skills or items just weapons in the weapons tab. I guess there is some type of character refresh that happens so the newly equipped item shows on the screen, my problem is it changes my character graphic when I change weapons. I will look into also but I figured I could ask you guys. I would love to hear this is a stupid easy fix. Hope to hear from you all. Thank you for taking the time to read this and potentially finding the culprit of my anguish. -
