Multiple Writers for A World of Many Possibilities (Anthology)

This seems like a pretty cool concept. I imagine that not all twelve realms are going to be take up in the next day or two so I'll come up with something by then! -

It does show that the creator put forth the effort and went the extra mile for that immersion factor. I've noticed that people complain about certain games feeling 'empty' or 'lackluster' but they can't explain why. When I look at the games they're talking about I notice that it is not because of gameplay or graphics or the physics engine. It is simply a failure of immersion because the environments lack those 'unnecessary' items in them. The 'unnecessary' items actually are necessary if you want your game to be immersive. Bethesda understands this concept well (Fallout, Elder Scrolls, blah blah blah). -

That looks pretty good! That's actually one thing that really bothers me in games. The sun is not directly above you and yet there are no shadows. I've gotten used to completely overlooking that, but this image kind of brought that back to mind. -
Oh my god! Sorry I wasn't here to help you.

Hey guys! It has been a few weeks since I was last here. I had a lot of stuff going on that I needed to sort out. I'll probably explain that to you guys as we go along, but I'm glad to be back.

Rush2112 started following Guardians of the Galaxy and The Maze Runner

Both of these movies are why I wanted to start this blog. Therefore, this entry will be doubled up! Dare I need to say spoilers? Enjoy. The first movie is Guardians of the Galaxy. THis one has been out for a while, but I figure I'll voice my opinion. Seriously, one of the best movies I have ever seen in theaters (other than, perhaps, Jurassic Park III and I Am Legend). The CGI and lighting were some of the best I've ever seen, ever. The story was amazing, especially for a Marvel movie (cough, Avengers, cough). The prison scene was seriously funny. "We need to get it at night so noone sees us." "I am Groot!" "Of course." An extremely funny movie too, I never had a moment where I wasn't smiling in the movie. No wonder this movie is the movie of 2014! The second movie of this entry is The Maze Runner. This is almost at the opposite end of the spectrum, as there wasn't any comedy in it. Althought the CGI was was breathtaking, and they also did a good shading job! This movie is similar to the Hunger Games, but the kids are all thrown in a giant maze which is an experiment. The maze has monsters that they must avoid and they have to find their way out. To be honest, I think they are still in the experiment at the end, considering the woman is still alive and she said "phase 2". I don't know that for a fact, I never read the books. I usually wait to read the books to a particular franchise for after the movies are done because the books are usually so much better, and it would ruin my experience of the movies. That is it for this review(s). In the future, there will only be one review per post. Hope you enjoyed!

Unveil — Survival Simulator (Now Moddable)
Rush2112 replied to PabloNeirotti's topic in Completed Games
Good, it won't be the walking simulator that is minecraft survival (CACTUS! I NEED F*CKING CACTUS! WHERE IS THE DAMN DESERT?!?!)... yeah, that. But replayability will definitely be increased if there are different environments. Then you will need to develop unique strategies for each one, where it be desert, forest, mountain, etc.- 101 replies

This can be a difficult subject to tackle, but if you like a challeng then this is a good one. I would look into the warlord time period of China for inspiration on this subject, or perhaps the Assyrians even. Those are pretty good examples of what you are looking for. I won't post them here since it would be WAY too long, but googling up some stuff would be good. Just be sure the sites are trustworthy (aka, not wikipedia). But yeah, this sounds like a pretty cool project and I will be sure to follow up on this one when I can!

I don't like doing that though, it just makes me feel like I am cheapening the value of my channel (lol, like it has value to begin with...), but the flip side is how would anyone watch my channel if I don't let people know it exists??? Ugg, conundrums have never been my friends... Also, eargasms. That is the perfect description of what I feel at the end of The Dark Side of the Moon! Just me feelings on eargasms...
