    Yeah it's pretty much plug and play with XP, there's only a few things you've got to do within the script but even I can do it.     Well it was only yesterday since I released the male Knight but with thanks to inazumas design I've brought one of his monsters to life. Original sprite by inazuma, animated by me. I hope to do this again. A mimic barrel.

    Some of the poses I've been working on for the knight animated battler, it's Idle, woozy and running. It's with a visual equipment script so I'm super excited to be able to swap out weapons and to give people more freedom. Like I've done previously but this time without doing a entire new sheet for character and weapons.

      Hmm I dunno. This was the first RPG Maker forum I belonged to, and I had some fond memories of it. Of course, it was much more lively back then. What exactly happened with that? Did things just gradually taper off? Was there a mass exodus? Was it a bear attack?

      RPG Maker is just dead is all; the official forums probably-possibly-maybe have more activity, but I wouldn't know because I'm not there.

    6 More versions of Asimole! Finally got round to finishing these off. I will in the future create some more edited versions including Ice and Poison versions but for now I’ve selected what colours really help to bring out the variation of this creature. B Demonic C Snow D Desert E Toxic F Poison G Rare Gold I had planned on trying to finish the base for the squire but got a bit distracted. But for the last part of the night I am going to be trying to sketch some more poses.
  16. In terms of a patent then if something is out in the public domain then it can't be patented. Even if it's the creator that wants to patent it. Just to jump into this mid way but going back to the initial topic, I did notice a massive different of people learning a new language. Compared to XP where there wasn't a month that went by where people were hosting their own tutorials on learning basics to advanced examples in engine. It's not a case of there's a lot of people retiring, it's that there wasn't many. People move onto different things all the time, problem here seems to be there's only been a couple of public people doing it. Granted there may be a lot of people know and use such things but distribution freely seems scarce.

    Got most of the animations for the female base done. I'll be doing weapon sheets separate from the base so they can be given a range of weapons, like for example the squire can either use 1handed sword or 1handed axe.
  18. Two goals for me, this first is to release a battler for each job class (base version) and try to get some designs out. The second is a bit of a stretch but I'd like to have a working version of a new MV animated battle system demo done with the actors I've made.

    New Frogs released! Not only designed as enemies but also now you can turn your heroes into frogs like in Final Fantasy 7. 1G could be used as a rare golden frog for a quest, purple poison, red as a fire frog. Whatever and however you like. Enjoy.

    Wheelchair in an RPG - Open Discussion

    Upgrades rather than equipment might be something. Best example I can think of for comparison is pokemon, rock climb, use something like chair abilities. Turn based can still have some nice features, in the early stages being knocked over could take two turns to recover, then having a spell/magic/tech to recover quicker. Instead of a shield breaking bar, have a stability meter. Throw up a design document, that'll give you room to get ideas down, problems and solutions.
