@Tsarmina: Yeah, I forgot, I mentioned that. I don't know how to add them in after the fact, if I did, tags would be added. @Heretic: I'll keep this one in mind, but the cutscene is meant to play when the player is returned to the overworld, not directly after the battle (so the party has already won, got their gold and xp and items, etc.). Still, good advice to have.

I thought that would work. I figured I'd come and ask much smarter people then me first, though, because I don't want to fight through a boss battle just to see if I screwed up or not.

The scrolls are going to be based off the user's Magic Attack, so the Wizard/Cleric gets more mileage out of them then the Barbarian/Ranger will. I'll pretty much just copy-paste the skill formula. However, that answers enough of my question for me to be dangerous.

Problems with impassible tiles

I did that, but then it caused a weird graphical thing-I used a 2x2 mountain, with the top two tiles being actual terrain, and the bottom two being the events. Having those tiles as terrain caused a thing where all the heroes had the top of their hair 'hidden' behind the mountain. So I just set it that the whole mountain was a transfer event and that fixed that. Question answered, close 'er up. -

Okay, so I have the party and the elder moving as soon as the party enters the house, but after both the elder and the party moves, the elder starts moving again (I assume taking the same path I outlined). How do I stop him repeating his movement? -

Thanks, Meiri! While I was waiting for this topic to get approved, I actually ended up figuring out how to do it on my own. Conditional branches and Self Switches are what I'll have to play with, though! EDIT: Before anyone yells at me for locking players out of a store, there's a 'traveling merchant' near the town entrance that will sell general healing items and a few pieces of gear. The Store will have a few upgrades.
