One more question: Is there a way to make a state be auto removed if the inflicted actor's mp becomes 0? -
What do you mean by "move to"? Drain is definetely possible - even with Vanilla RPGM. However, Yanfly also has a "life steal" plugin on there site if that interests you~ Are you needing a plugin to allow holder battles in battle, or do you just want a "snazzy" more custom battle screen? Yanfly has a bunch of "Action Sequence" plugins that, with a little practice and getting used to, you can create dynamic attacks and movements. I think there is a topic on RM Web that is supposed to let you get help too. Animations, you'd have to look up. Someone on RM Web had a bunch of packs that really looked nice (can't remember his name though...). Someone else on that site had different varations of some of the battler poses (chanting, attack, hurt, ect.) but since your using Holder sheets, that isn't really necessary. There are even HUD plugins and such, so you should be able to get a fair bit of customization out of it~ Move to: Moving the battler to the target enemy sprite to attack rather than just stepping forward and swinging like in vanilla MV. Drain: An animation where a health orb flies from the target to the caster. Like a bullet/arrow shooting animation but reversed. Thank you for the information. Basically I want to incorporate my own fully custom battlers I have spent much time working on already, but they are based on holder only more frames and larger and animated through victor's on Ace currently. I also want flashy effects, animation, and the like. I would like to upgrade to MV potentially, but my sprites are most important as is them being properly animated.

Will that summon script work with victor's animated battlers? As for passive lets just say a state that can up the chance of something with a chance too afflict a state. Like say there is a fire skill with a 10% burn chance. Is there a way to have a state that say ups the chance to 20%. Is that more clear? -
I was wondering if there is a way to change an actor with victors animated battlers? I want to create a summoner character who replaces himself with the summon as well as the main character basically doing the same thing only turning into a demon. Is this possible? Additionally is there a way to have my summoner character have passives (I already know how to make passives) that say boost certain actors stats, like his summons. Say like boost the defense of all skeleton type minions by 20% for example. Another thing is there a way to say have a state boost the chance of a state being inflicted by an attack. Like say Incendiary Ammo has a 50% burn chance. Any way to have a state up the chance? Any help would be appreciated.

I think it shouldn't be too complicated to modify it for other systems but there is a lot of my scripts I would like to polish/make compatibility patches for and tons of new scripts I would like to make ( Global Game Jam was inspiring ). So I can't promise anything but I will keep this in mind Thanks. Yeah, when I try it with Victor's nothing happens. The member just doesn't switch and the sprite doesn't change. Please keep me informed, I really would love to have this feature in my game and it seems that there currently is no way for me to. Thanks again for the consideration. -

LMFAO this thread is about to get dark. This is my moment of truth, where I shall lay down the ultimate turd of supreme horribleness. My idea is a joke game I have thought about for years. As messed up as FO3 was you can't kill the kids. It is the only messed up thing the game won't let you do. So, a game about shooting innocent people and a result of that thing you can't do in FO3. Kid Killer. The whole game is just shooting up a schools, playgrounds, day cares, birthday parties, what have you. If that isn't terrible, I don't know what is. How about a car combat game? -
How do you make Side-view combat system actors larger?

If you want larger sprites you have to make them larger yourself. This could be done a few ways. You could blow up the image (which may look bad), you could modify the sprites to be larger pixel by pixel, or you could just outright draw larger sprites. -
Tough question to answer. Any art program can be used to draw sprites, but having layers is nice so one with layers. I use Gimp for everything. As for starting out you need to get the basic shapes worked out first. Then color it, then shade. Shading is very important otherwise your sprites will look flat. For outline I like to use the same color as the color it is touching. Say a red shirt, a red outline, but darker. Just mess around for a while you can do it. I learned from scratch, here is an example of what I can teach you to do, but it is a process so PM me if you wish. Top is overworld, bottom is battler. All custom. You can do it too. I knew nothing when I started.

Regardless many of the scripts provided things no other scripts could to VX Ace users. This means VX Ace just lost functionality, which sucks. Ace just took a huge hit. Sometimes it comes down to the art being better than the artist who created it. This is, definitely, not good. Now anyone who wants these functionalities will be screwed. I am lucky enough to have the ones I need already, but others may not be and it is sad for them.

Yes, Victor Sant. I had heard this person wasn't too personable, but I think the scripts are very good. They can do what other systems cannot. I hope they turn up again in the future. Sucks for those that want a highly customizable side view battle system. Hell, those scripts are what made me start spriting my own custom battler sprites in the first place.

Necroing this thread because the links are all dead (get it? Heh, heh, but really I'm sad). Victor's wordpress and google drive are both deleted. The master script list should be updated as none of Victor's scripts seem to be accessible anymore.
