I'm asexual (but not aromantic) so I can kind of relate to you. When I tell people I'm asexual, they're usually like "Wait, so you're a lesbian?" and I'm like "...lol, no. Asexuality does not automatically make someone gay." And they're like "So you don't like anybody then?" And then I'm like "Um, no, l very much like boys. I'm not aromantic."
