    I'll the say the same thing as Tsarie-- I'm an artist, so yeah, I'm also highly biased. :P

    So I also think it would be pretty cool.

     

    I agree with all of Takeo's points, and the categories thing sound like a pretty good idea.

     

    Although I wonder who would judge? Perhaps it could just be a public poll?

     

    That said, I personally would prefer not to be a judge as I don't feel particularly qualified.

    I'm reading the schedules again and I'm still confused as to how it exactly works. Can you explain it more clearly?

    Like... do people start at different times or when it's that time in GMT? What's the submission time, why is it separate from the game-making period? Wouldn't that enable people to make some more edits to their game before they submit? Why not just use one timezone? Wouldn't some other people have shorter/longer submission days since the previous times are GMT and the submission day is local time?

    I don't get what the theme is either, but dunno if that falls under having your own interpretation of it though.

    also can you get on Discord regularly, like jeez we can't talk to you about these things conveniently :(

    This reminds me of a series of very very silly Japanese videos of short games made in RPG Maker that I think was called the "Sis RPG" series. There used to be a bunch of translated versions on youtube but I can't seem to find them now (though I did find one on daily motion here, just ignore the name it really has nothing to do with it). :( They were pretty hilarious.

    Holy shit Killo, I just watched that and it was the greatest thing I have ever seen since ERIC IN THE SEA.

     

    That aside, the video in the OP isn't weird. It just seems to be a joke game mocking Kaus (Hanzo, I think) about how he stole tiles from other places, slightly editing and claiming that they were his. (and I think some people paid for them)

    I think it's been a while since the topic on RMW about that issue went up.

    I would say that after this, I don't think we need another contest. Atleast nothing such as "make a game in x days/weeks/months". It would be nice to have more variety between the contests to be honest, but I don't disapprove.

    I agree, where are the art contests and stuff?

    I only remember that one pixel art contest I participated in long ago. It was fun. :P

    I might be able to fit a wee bit more with the... 20 hours left . So I might update this post (if I will be able to). Looks like I didn't manage to add anything. kek

    Anyhow, another failed attempt of mine. Just like me last year, at IIAW 1. :P #Anniversary

    It might just be a worse failure than Procrastination 1.
