Good news and bad news about the new PC.
Good news: this thing runs beautifully, I'm not gonna lie.
Bad news: the keyboard that came with it is not programmer-friendly. RPG Maker hotkeys? Gone. Impossible.
I've switched back to my old keyboard for convenience's sake.

Well, it's not that surprising, is it? Everything these days is about 'make smaller, make more convenient', so losing function keys and the like are not uncommon finds.
I personally would rather slap an IBM Model M in front of a modern PC setup, but that's me and my preference for mechanical, clicky keyboards (and the same kind of keys in general). To each, their own. -
The keyboards / mouses that come with PC's are meant to be pretty much starter devices - cheapest & simplest, just to let you operate with the new PC. Some PC's don't include these at all.
So unless you're purchasing an actual bundle (for example some gaming bundle, where you get a fancy keyboard and mouse, that actually contribute to the price), don't expect anything awesome to be included.
So yeah, there's nothing to worry or be sad about, as this is pretty much expected.
