Inspiration always seems to strike when school gets hectic, doesn't it?

Well, you learn new things, and school encourages you actively think, which is where inspiration comes from anyways.

It's not too surprising - it's just a catch-22 because even if you feel the most inspired while learning, chances are, you never get the time to really act on it, and by the time you do, a lot of that initial excitement already gave way due to exhaustion.

      It's quite sad, really.

  2. Happy New Year~! :)

I'm having the same problem. :-) I have an idea of creating a gift made of polymer clay.

  5. Spent 15 hours today in the hospital with my husband. Appendicitis, so they had to remove the appendix. He's resting, but I won't be as available as much over the next little while.

    Halloween Contest!

Just to clarify, that's 12 p.m. in what time zone?
  9. I am indeed trying to transfer files between two compressed files. Before I try this, if I decompress the files will I have to recompress the files to be able to edit them thru RPG Maker VX Ace? Or can I leave them decompressed. You can leave them decompressed. I didn't think you could edit them when they're compressed anyway O.o
  10. If I'm not mistaken, it's because you're trying to move files from a compressed folder into another compressed folder. Try extracting both files and try to move them again. See if that works
  11. If any transgender people on here are open to speaking about their experiences, please message me. I'm looking for someone to interview (for character purposes).

    harvest moon like game

Actually, you can monitor the romances and mining with variables - no script required. It's a lot easier that way

    Side quest Ideas

Here;s my idea for the desert world: A long time ago, a race of people crossing the desert happened upon great beings of immense power, inhabiting an ancient city. Unmoving and unblinking, these giants stood as a tribute to the ancient races who had come before. However, a young man, as he explored the city, discovered that the beings could be controlled from a gem in the city's heart. This gem, acting as a sort of hive mind, was the key to wielding these creatures for destruction. Blinded by power, the young man acted as a righteous god, and sought to destroy his own people and become lord over them. A war began, the likes of which the simple humans could not hope to win. In order to preserve their race, the humans devised a cunning plan - they would herd the beings into a pit dug into the sands, and would bury them there. They hoped that, deep under the sands, the giants would be unable to hear the calls from the stone. The plan was put in play, and the humans successfully trapped the giants in a deep pit. Even as the great beings fell, a contingent of soldiers left to recover the gem from the crazed young man. Nearly defenseless without his powerful weapons, the young man was quickly subdued and killed. The soldiers brought the gem back to their people, in order to determine their course of action. The humans, after much debate, decided that it was far too dangerous to allow the gem to be found. A small group decided to remain behind, inhabiting the ancient city, and protect the gem for eternity. Saddened, the others continued their journey through the desert, and the small group went to repairing the ancient city. The story of the few's sacrifice was passed down throughout the generations of those who left, ensuring that their memory would live on. Many eons passed, and the descendants of the few who had remained behind inhabit the city still. The gem was sealed in the central chamber in their city, constantly guarded. However, one fearful day, the guards were found dead, and the gem, stolen. The people of the city pleaded for help, knowing the damage the beings could cause if they were to rise again. Not my best writing, but it's a basic idea. The descendant's sole purpose was to protect this gem, to prevent further destruction. To have it stolen would be a huge blow to the community, and would cause panic among them. Even the rogue would feel obligated to prevent the devastation, I'm sure. If it works, great. if not, I could probably come up with a few more ideas. By the way, I'm always up for brainstorming and writing, if you're looking for a person to bounce ideas off of.
