Okay, so even though I still feel like I don't what to do in my spare time now, I made a new character.. Her name is Ane.. Ane Arendsdatter.. She's possibly a pirate? Even though I really don't have any water themed areas in mind, possible an old connection to Leo in some way? I'm just confused, and have no idea anymore.. Anyone have any ideas what I should do next?

So, ever since I lost all of my data, I've been kicking around som ideas for something else, but I really have no idea what I would want to create next. Since everything was gone and somehow my copy of the engine decided to reboot itself, giving me nothing but the basics I spent a couple of days grabbing all that I remember having plus new sets, backgrounds and items to give me that confidence boost if I was going to go back into production. But that also brought up the fact that I now have this guy.. His name is Leonard Patrick Sullivan.. Or Leo for short, he's a mechanic in a kingdom that got taken over and is now eager to either become a hero that the this nameless kingdom needs, or something else, I haven't gotten that far, so basically all I have is three map sets and two ruined guard towers guarding a dilapidated gate. That's it. no dialogue, no other characters, nothing, and the music I choose is the free creepy music you can get online.. I did have my brother record like four paragraphs of a possible story line that I thought would be okay, but I just can't really see the story he wrote.. Which is my fault I guess, but I just need that spark and passion I had for "Just Starting," although sparse, was there. And now that my baby is all gone.. I don't know. Does anyone have any ideas that could help for what I'm calling "Creation Depression"? Any help would be appreciated. -Stray

Jealous of your set up, looks great!

I prefer to to take the slower approach myself, which is usually, make about two to three maps so that I don't trip myself up. And then I go with how I want to make things work, events, and then pretty them up before moving on. That way I have about ten maps done within a week if I have a good work ethic. That's just how I do things though.
