I'm reminded of a raven video where the raven says "say 'nevermore'" and then "waka waka waka." Other corvids can learn to talk too, like magpies. Animals are really so cool, more than most people give them credit for.

@Kayzee I don't think you should be so hard on parallax mapping. Some people can make really good level designs by drawing them.
 
I have a little fan game I'm working on, and there are certain levels that represent characters' minds, so a regular map really doesn't cut it. If I visualize a character's psyche to be represented by a giant sunflower, there's no way I can regular map that and make it look good. The solution is to use a parallax background.

Parallax mapping is putting an image as the parallax background and putting passable and impassable transparent tiles over it.

@Kayzee My church was Unitarian Universalist so it was more about caring for each other than one particular religion. We learned about different religions too which was cool.

An old cathedral-like building I used to frequent before I started at the Academy was one of my favorite places to explore; I learned a lot of my movement techniques in raw form there (though I wouldn't try jumping a forty foot hole in the floor now), and met someone who I would eventually fall in love with.
 
Said building is now half-covered in boulders from a sleet-induced rock slide. Anyone who wants to venture in would have to climb a good distance up the mountain and then into an upper story window. Not really worth it since there's likely very little traversable terrain left inside.

@Animebryan Lol I don't marathon. I need to do more variety of stuff during the day. And I think it'd be okay, AkaYona ended too quick and now I have to read the manga.

Maybe write a happier story, but with a morose main character 
 

Just so you know, the Yellowstone thing is nothing to worry about. I looked it up and it's only tabloids that are concerned, which means zero.

I'm the opposite. I can't write really dark stuff. I mean, yes, I can write things where there's catastrophe and my characters sometimes feel awful, but I love them too much to kill them or make them suffer horribly (especially if it's fanfiction, because my faves deserve happiness IMO).

Has the staff been talking to you or are people just being jerks online? Because you can't take people who are just mean over the internet seriously. There are some pretty horrible Youtube commenters out there and their opinions mean zero.

(Next time, I'll not say anything when I'm afflicted by insomnia drain...)

I find that even if I feel just plain uncreative, starting work on any project (whether it be a game or story) makes me feel inspired again.
