The screenshot with green haired girl is breathtaking for real. That sparkling ocean blue dress is pretty amazing. About the sketchy guy, is that a gif picture? (I can't see it because my laptop is dead :c) There are improvement here and there. Keep us getting updated!

I think weird hairstyles and some eccentric style of fashion can give characters more personality. But it still depends on the overall design choice. If the game is full of important characters with eccentric fashion... The people with normal fashion will not "powerful" enough to stand out. Perhaps they'll end up becoming NPC. If the majority of important characters use the more realistic and simpler clothing... The people with eccentric fashion can be kinda out of place. (It'd be like seeing Naruto in GTA games. That's kinda funny xD) For games that can handle high amount of graphical details, both are equally good. It just have to be consistent. But for sprite-based games I think eccentric fashion is definitely better.

The music is epic and the sound effect is cool! Somehow I can't focus when I see the walking troops on the bridge. IDK why, they seems funny and make me laugh. xD Lightweight, but fun game! *I still haven't beaten level 1...

Lost transparency in images

Do you keep the pre-edited sprite? Or does it get overwritten? If that so, you should make the character again. (using generator) But this time, edit it with Graphics Gale. You can download it here. I think it's a best tool for sprite editing. By using Graphics Gale, the transparency won't be lost. -
Wow! I ever tried 3D modelling before. I've clicked stuff to form something but the result is a wild mess! Maybe I'll try to do it again with proper knowledge. xD This is of course a great work!

I don't have MV yet. My only guess is you haven't inserted a plugin for parallax map. Therefore, the parallax map seems just like a looping panorama. I tried to browse around and found a plugin for parallax map in MV. Try to visit the page here, perhaps it can solve the issue.

This is cool. I think TBD can be replaced with "lost civilization". So it'll be "Legacy of The Lost Civilization". Is it too long, or maybe it's good enough? IDK, I hope it can give you some idea.
