  1. Why uncommon/particular games made with RPG Maker don't get attention? It's quite strange to me

Well, advertising and making your project known is good--particular why people would choose that game over others, try even asking friends or others what kind of things they've always wanted in a game. You definitely want something special that other games don't have--but it has to be something that people have been wanting from a game, or something they never knew they wanted.

While I do agree that uncommon games should get some recognition and attention, the market is flooded with loads of RPG Maker games that were pieced together within a matter of hours, days or weeks. There are maybe a handful of great RPG Maker games that took loads of time and dedication to make, but you would have to sift through a lot of asset flipped games to find even a good one; let alone find a decent game using plain default assets.

Quite personally, when I do find a game made in the RPG Maker game that strays away from the actual "RPG Maker" feel, I honestly feel like my mind is blown and I start asking, "How did they do that?! I wanna learn how to do that!" That's just me, though. Those are the games I usually keep my eyes on. That, and a RPG Maker type game with a good narrative. It never hurts to push the limits of RPG Maker to see what you can actually get away with and to see what works.

@KaisoAri That is exactly what I try to do.

Not even remotely easy, but well worth the trouble.
