    Achievement System

Sure, no problem. I made an achievement to kill 5 slimes. In the troops tab I put in "gain_achievement(1, 0)" to progress the first achievement which was to kill the slimes. I also had to make them immortal, then set the trigger for when they are at 0% life or less, add the achievement, then add the death state, because if you don't the last enemy killed won't give and progress. So if you enter a battle with 4/5 slimes defeated, once you kill the first slime and gain the achievement point that's when the battle closes and the problems I stated before arise.

    Achievement System

Found a bug when you get an achievement during combat, like for killing monsters. Your combat will end abruptly, the achievement will play and no triggers will be usable. The combat music also continues to play. It only partially gets fixed when you get into another battle, the battle runs it's course normally but the music still continues after the battle until a trigger changes it. Not sure if any more bugs come along with it but that's what I've noticed.

    Hello everyone! =)

If someone wants to help me out here and there with a bit of code I can apply in existing mods to do what I want them to do, that would be a huge time saver. At the moment I'm basically just guessing and checking with no programming background so I only have common sense to work with, and more often than not what I try to do doesn't work. I spend most of my time just trying to adjust mods to be how I want them without actually making anything. I feel it's more wise to get everything working how you want it to before you start making a lot of content because if you get something down the road that conflicts with your work so far you'll just end up having to remake most of it and that can be a huge bummer and a waste of time and energy. Many of the mods I'm using are a few years old and aren't being updated anymore so that sucks. I know there's a forum to ask for this kind of assistance but I feel like I would just be flooding the forums with new topics and that's not something I want to do. Anyway, I'll just continue to learn how to use the mods I have and make sure they work ok. Oh by the way... by mods I mean scripts.

    Hello everyone! =)

Thanks guys! I'm a little bit of a perfectionist, so I end up using most of my time trying to get things exactly the way I want them instead of just making content. But that can be fun too. Well... off I go!
  5. Hey everyone! It's good to be here amongst all the rpg creators! I've dabbled in rpg maker since the early 2000's I believe and it has always been fun. Before it even existed I was making rpg's on paper with my friends and using dice like AD&D style to play them. When I first heard about rpg maker it seemed like a natural fit and I've been using it here and there ever since. I've always wanted to learn how to script so I could make my own games just the way I wanted them but I never got around to it and never really had the time to learn. I do enjoy creating games though and rpg maker has made that much easier and fun to do so thanks for that! I took a break from my last project for a while and now that I've come back I see a ton of new and amazing scripts that people have created. I'm really mind blown at how amazing these scripts are! You can't even tell some of these games were made using rpg maker at all! I'm excited to try them out and expand my games potential! With these scripts you can do anything! It's really amazing! Maybe one day I'll learn how to script but for now I'll just made do with others. Anywho, it's nice to be here and I look forward to seeing you all around the forums! Take care!
